Eli let out a sigh. "Honestly, it's lookin' like the Vic theory is the one that makes the most sense here. But I still doubt that whole was just something totally random. Maybe Vic made the hole himself to get into the storage room? There were plenty of flaming objects in the kitchen, considering that's where the fire started, so I think it's possible."

"We know for a fact that the killer was in the storage room after the crash. This is because this is when the strut had to be removed. The possibility remains that the strut was somehow removed from the kitchen but this is ultimately unimportant. Anyway the strut had to be removed after the crash because if it was removed during the crash the container would fall.
"The shutters closed after the crash so the killer could not escape that way. The only way they could leave would be through the kitchen door. If the killer walked through the kitchen they'd be spotted by Vic, and they still would have to walk into the restaurant at minimum to climb the vent. So they'd be spotted by the people in the restaurant too. The only person who could not have been spotted if they left the storage room after the crash would be Vic, since he was the one in the kitchen and the car was destroyed.
"That is the reason Vic is suspicious. Nobody else could've commit the crime. If you believe someone other than Vic is the killer, then they needed some way to leave the storage room without being spotted. That doesn't seem possible but it could be. Maybe the hole is related, but it seems more likely that it was just Vic. At least in my opinion."

The killer, Taylor, was asked to meet up in the storage room with Siri at a certain time. It was regarding the letter. They climbed through the vents before her and hid behind a stack of boxes. Siri also came with through the vents, but didn't see who she was going to meet. Afterwards, the crash happened, tumbling over the boxes, and exposing the killer. One of the smaller boxes tumbled, landing on Siri's leg. The killer than stabs her, or kills her in a way that she would die immediately. He then sets up the box trap to hide the evidence. He makes a hole in the kitchen-storage room door to see if he can escape there, but sees a fire. So he goes through the side door, throws his knife off the train, and meets up with everyone else."

So uh, Siri used the pillows to make it seem like she was sleeping or whatever, and she ninja'd herself to the storage room. I'm guessing this is because of the letters, and she wanted to meet someone there, right?
So then if Taylor did it, he got there before Siri, right? Otherwise he'd have to use the vents too, and that's weird...and Vic makes sense since he has one of the most reliable methods of escape...
Did I basically get it right? Why we're suspectin' these two dudes?"

"That, uhh...doesn't really make much sense," Eli said, "Why would he have just waited around in the storage room for so long? He didn't know the crash was coming. Was he just gonna wait there indefinitely? And what was the point of dropping the box on Siri? All he was covering up was the stab wounds, but if he just threw the knife off the train, then it's not like it's gonna implicate him. And why bother making a hole in the door if he could just head out the side?"
At Nicos's comment, he added, "I kinda doubt it...but if she were, it couldn't pretty much only be Vic, or maybe Kyoya, I suppose."

"So she decided that she's gotta investigate what all is going on with Alabaster, but she did it in secret because she didn't want to alert everyone that something was wrong. When we got back on the train she snuck away using the pillows so that nobody could know where she was and went all alone to inspect the cargo. I mean, maybe she thought Gawain was in one of the crates or something, but obviously we know whose cargo that was so it didn't even matter."
"Anyway, I think the killer had no idea she went into the storage room, and she searched in there for a while until the crash happened. Unfortunately for her, her foot got stuck under one of the crates and she was in immense pain. She called out for anyone who could help her. Luckily someone was nearby and beat the door open. When they punched through it, trying to get the door open, they saw Siri there helpless, and for some reason, maybe because they're really screwed up or something, they decided she didn't deserve to be helped. Siri furiously tried to get them to help her, but instead they took out the middle strut on the large crate, and pushed another crate in front of the kitchen door to keep the fire out. With one last look at her struggling, they left out the side door and joined the rest of us."
