"In fact, Colin is the one who mentioned I had planned to print my breakfast - I never said I did, because I didn't. I'd only planned to. I'd also like to point out that since we're assuming the eel was used to strangle Rina, I couldn't have caught it. I wouldn't even be able to begin to understand how to catch an eel."

"I think Liza killed Rina, and then used the lucky pistol to try to make it look like she was shot instead. However, she was then shot and killed by someone using the other gun. If we are assuming that only someone capable of navigating the dark did it, it could be either Colin or I. Or once again we are looking at the Ultimate Hitman, who I believe would have the skill to kill someone in the dark, especially if while patrolling the halls he hears a gunshot - it would give him a target, at least, and may explain why the shot is not straight on. Raymond couldn't see perfectly and so the shot wasn't perfect."
Cain shook his head. "It keeps coming back to Raymond to me - he would have the necessary gun skills to use one, and his admittance to not seeing anyone else outside of their beds means either the killer was already back in bed or he did it. I understand that it looks like it was me, but I did not kill Liza or Rina."

He thought a bit more. "If Cain's the killer...he'd only bring the eel. A blind man wouldn't use a gun as a weapon. If Liza's murder was unplanned...it makes sense she brought the gun with her. It's one thing for Cain to shoot someone with his hearing, but it's another for him to take the gun from someone else too."
