"Oh Jonas, my neighbor! He was so sweet and innocent!" Forsythia rushes to the scene of Jonas's death, and falls to her knees. She pulls out a handkerchief and brings it up under her hat, dutifully mourning him. After a long while, she joins the others in their discussions.

"O-oh! A-an incubus? O-oh my! Why didn't he ever visit me? P-perhaps I am not as charming as I used to be?" she hugs herself, shaking her head. "At least I'm safe, though it would have been interesting certainly."

Forsythia seems to miss bits of the conversation after that, but she still jumps in at one point, saying, "Last night I didn't witness anything. I stayed in the house polishing the fine china, and I never caught even a glimpse of a witch or wizard."

Tired after a long, horrifying day, the eleven remaining residents of Moonview retire to their homes, the following night passing by fairly normally.

The next morning is a bit different. The inhabitants of Moonview want answers, and they want justice. Thus, the remaining town members collectively decide to hold a trial at the town square, in the aim of finding out who among them is a member of such a "Coven" and give them the punishment they deserve, that being a proper execution by hanging. They decide that the best way of going about this would be to use a simple voting process.

André leaned against the wall of the town hall, while his face was sullen and downcast he still managed to portray a beautiful sadness in his form "Well so this is what it's come to eh? Didn't take long for civilisation to tear apart under pressure." he uncrossed his arms and hefted himself off the wall.

"By the way, why did no one tell me my face was covered in powder yesterday?" he asked "I spent the whole day getting funny looks and didn't notice until I got home but it did remind me of something."

André leaned against one of the desks in the room and waved his cigarette from side to side.

"Someone, attacked me in my home the night Jonas was murdered."

André disappeared inside to fetch one of the town hall desks so he could recline sexily on it as he told his story.

"Well...sadly I can't say I did get the better of my opponent, my handsome friend" he sighed taking a puff of his cigarette and slowly exhaling before beginning.

"It was late that night and I heard a noise outside...no not a knock..." he added with a glance at Emilia "...just a noise...but I went to open the door and see and the moment I did..." André blew a large cloud of fragrant herbal smoke in front of him so it obscured his face for perfect dramatic effect "...a cloud of that powdery substance blasted me in the face."

André stubbed out his cigarette, suitably relaxed now, "Well...sadly that was it...I staggered back dizzy and my head rang with...laughter before I collapsed that night on my own bar table." He reached into his breast pocket and produced his beautiful red and gold cloth from earlier "I wiped this stuff off in case anyone with and understanding of chemistry can decipher it but sadly it seems the Coven can try and disable us as well."

(Edit for clarity: Was attacked the night Jonas was murdered not the mayor.)

The powder is unlike anything Emilia has encountered before, and seems almost unnatural. The only thing Emilia manages to detect from the powder is a small hint of piperine, a chemical prone to inducing sneezing.

She giggles, "I'm flattered that everyone finds me so bold and eye-catching that they would think me magical, but I certainly would never kill anyone, and I want us all to be able to live together here! I am not a witch, and that much should say so! I imagine the witches would be content to sew dissent among us, which I have never done! I'm sorry that I have left some of you yearning for my affection, I will try harder in the coming days to make you all feel welcome!"

She turns to Cooper, "On the subject of who I suspect, it is hard for me to say! I admit I have my biases but also I really don't think we should hang anyone while still so much is unknown! I will say that I believe that the witches wouldn't be so bold as to make up a story like Emelia's or Andre's."
