If there's any confusion regarding the map, the rooms don't occupy the space in the hallways and the emergency staircase doesn't bisect every floor. It's more accurate to think of every floor as looking pretty much the same but having doors to its respective rooms]

You went straight from your room to Door 3, right? Even though the dorm rooms are completely soundproof, and I think Door 3 is awfully far away from the dorms.
You went straight to 2F. Why not check 1F first?
You hesitated in saving Sayako, talking to whoever?--it doesn't matter right now--on your radio.
You then escort Sayako out and head back in, heading for the armory. I think you even mentioned specifically that you were 'looking for Sakura.' Although you did say Crimson told you she saw her in the bathroom...
When Ryuji runs back in, you redirect him to the Chem Lab, which coincidentally was the next place rigged to explode.
When I found the bunsen burner in the time machine room, you immediately said it was used to start the fire. How could you be sure, even with all your firefighter knowledge and ability to... find... weak... spots.
