"Anyways, I can confirm my own alibi and my test subjects alibis. We were all in my research center at the time the body was found. None of us left until we heard the announcement play. I had also invited the victim as well, but he told me he had better things to do."

The PA speaks:
"Erm... I'm getting tired of waiting. What say we get started, hm? It's time for the long-awaited Class Trial! Everyone, please gather by the boathouse!"
Everyone comes back from their investigations. They stand by the boathouse.
"W-what," says Yuma. "H-how are we gonna class trial here?"
"Ah, be patient small one," says Monokuma.
"H-hey!" says Yuma. "You're one to talk."
A huge cylinder arises from the ocean. The front opens up, and an elevator is revealed. A long walkway extends.
"After you," says Monokuma.
The class files in one by one. The elevator slowly rums down. Bud Lau, the Ultimate Senator. He had an eccentricity to him unmatched by anyone else. He only wanted the best for everyone,
and was determined to stop the mastermind. His loss would weigh on his classmates forever.
Everyone is thinking the exact same thing. The one who killed Bud is one of us!
The class arrives in a circular rooms. Everyone has a podium with their name and a tablet behind them. There is a monochrome picture of Bud with a giant pink X behind one.
"Alright!" says Monokuma. "Let's not waste any more time. Everyone, go to your seat so we can start the class trial!"
And so it begins, the argument for the truth, for life and death, for the fate of everyone in this room!

"I investigated the beach with Simon. I went to check the boathouse, but nothing about it seemed to have changed since the murder. There was also a faint set of footprints leading to an area of the beach without any buoys. Anything before those would have disappeared by this point. There were several other sets of footprints but they didn't seem quite as important. That...is all, honestly." She sighed and remained quiet as she added the results of her investigation to the evidence list.
