It's OK. Just talk over my posts. I don't care anymore. Here I am thinking I am posting something worth talking about. Stupid me for thinking that.

With all these Tumblr grade gifs I usually just skim the pages

You know what you call a chat where people only respond to a select few?

A circlejerk

This thread is a fucking circlejerk of weaboo tumblr gifs.

Image

Hey guys, here's a tip
If your gif is just of someone talking, with no narration what so ever, it's stupid to someone not in the know
The viewer is given no context, so it's an "inside joke"
Fine, I can understand inside jokes, but having them day after day with no content is just spam
It's a circlejerk. And only you and a select few others are allowed in.
You wanna pull that shit, go onto skype
You know what I do when I wanna pull this shit?
I go onto 4chan

So either get better gifs, explain the context, or stop posting those 10 frame gifs because they're not endearing, they're not even entertaining, it's not even a goddamn reference, it's spam.

While not while playing P4, that's happened to me more times than I care to admit.

You think AJ is that bad? How can it be worse than an entire game built around to explain one character's rather unnecessary existence? And by that I mean Godot.

Honestly, it's my favorite in the series, hell when he asked me i pushed it on to him. The general opinion is that the game is the worst one so i'm thinking he's gonna hate it.

Hey now. Don't go hating on Godot. He was my second favorite prosecutor. Also, I would not say that AJ is the weakest like. If anything that award goes to DD (gosh I hate that game). At least AJ keep to the source material. It was just using a different protagonist. That is why people don't like it. But I liked it. It is a true AA game in my book.

I have to admit I actually enjoy Space Dandy. It's a pretty funny anime and I love the animation. Still not better than cowboy bebop but its still a good experience.

My biggest issue with DD is that Trucy didn't do anything.

Trucy's my favorite character, probably why i felt

the last case where she was kidnapped, while it wasn't that big of a presence i felt it was because Trucy's my favorite.

In my opinion, the weakest Ace Attorney game goes to GS2. That game's plot was... well, it had no real overarching plot. It felt more like an extra set of cases than it's own distinct game. The only case from that game that I actually liked was 2-4. All the other cases were either stupid, confusing, annoying, or a combination of the 3.

I like Apollo Justice well enough hopefully he will as well.

XP Ah the old tomb raider games, sadly I never really had the patience to get through them, perhaps I was just a hyper child but looking at dull stone textures for hours while I ran around frustrated didn't stick with me.

Perhaps it's just not a jump you are meant to do?

I loved the Tomb Raider games growing up, haha. I've finished them all including the recent one. ^__^
I'm supposed to jump over the spikes. When I played it before, it went perfectly. For some odd reason she's not cooperating with me. Once I reset the game, she went over. Finally. xD

Cowboy Bebop is about being stuck in limbo; existentialist ennui. It's a serious show that's sometimes funny, in a surprisingly true-to-life way. Space Dandy is... "breastaurants." It's like Futurama ft. Shinichiro Watanabe. They can both be good!

If I had to rank them... they'd almost be in order. I found GS1 to be pretty decent, GS2 had the important message for Phoenix at the end, AJ was entertaining for me because Phoenix was openly cynical and GS3... well, it felt a little superfluous to make, since it felt like it's only there to explain Godot's existence, which was created for that game... also, I was getting a bit sick of the Fey clan, and that game was chockfull of them...

And I have to prepare the other cat to go to the vet for a de-worming shot and I just heard the cat, who went to the vet yesterday, vomitting... I'm pretty sure it wasn't into the litter box... joy.

Of course blood has a smell. A very distinct smell, actually. Certain people like detectives and Forensic scientists smell blood all the time, so they can easily recognize it. As everyone knows, sharks are attracted to the scent of blood, and go into a feeding frenzy once their target starts bleeding.

You know, I watched cowboy bebop like 2 years ago. Maybe it's because I don't have any nostalgia attached to the show but I don't see why so many people go crazy over this anime. Some even claim that Cowboy Bebop is the best anime ever produced. Why are people so fond of this show? Is it the bandwagon effect? In my opinion the show was pretty good, but the score should be somewhere around 7 or 7.5 out of 10.

On another note I'm currently buried in homework so I'm escaping a little bit from my duties right now but ... njeh. I'll get it done eventually.

Gaaah I thought so XP They practically force the things upon you now, you need one to post on Youtube I believe. They spent ages nudging me going like "Eh? Ya wanna use your real name dontcha? Eh? Go on!" and then they're like "Well if you wanna comment, better sign in on your real name buddy" and now sometimes when I sign in they are like "Hey wanna sign in as your real name account? No? Pffft"

A fair few people ain't fond of internet anonymity anymore, I imagine it's because of the rise of trolls (the nasty trolls, not the pet ones like DoMaya) and cyberbullying, folks drawing strength from being hidden like that but for some of us we just don't like giving out our information online :ron: It's another form of protection in that sense as it makes us harder for Joe Everyman to track us down.

What kind of shows do you like? Are you a big anime watcher? Part of Cowboy Bebop's popularity is that it's the anime that, for whatever reason, non-anime watchers still seem to like. That gives it a lot of hype, since there's nothing for that significant part of its fanbase to really compare it to.

There really isn't anything else like it. It's about a team that isn't a team, about clinging to a past that doesn't exist anymore and being unable to move forwards. It's 90% episodic for exactly that reason, which I feel might not work for someone looking for a story-driven show. Bebop is very character-focused, and the story serves more of a thematic purpose. It's good at using subtleties in a way that respects the viewer's intelligence, which has the inevitable cost of making people think they're a lot smarter than they are for getting it. And then those people get angry about Toys in the Attic. And I laugh.

It's not for everyone, and I can't speak to "best anime ever," but it's definitely a very well-made show on a technical level. Beautiful animation, a well-written story that utilizes a non-linear timeline, produced by Shinichiro Watanabe, score by Yoko Kanno, and easily the best dub of an anime series that I'm aware of.

TL;DR: It's artsy and experimental, and that attracts a lot of pretentious people who have no scale by which to judge it on. I still love it.
Also, a lot of people find Spike and/or Faye hot. You asked.

You asked.

I agree with all your points on why Cowboy Bebop is a great anime. As a avid anime watcher since the beginning of highschool I just find that newer anime these days lack the well-written storyline that the older anime used to have like Fist of the Northstar and Lupin the 3rd or even Saint Seiya. To Sjibbey, I never said it was the "Best anime ever" but I'm saying that since both Space dandy and Cowboy Bebop are written by the same person that space dandy doesn't live to par with cowboy bebop but I still enjoy it.

I am currently uploading the last video of my Lufia II - Rise of the Sinistrals Let's Play.
Even after several years of playing the game and seeing the ending, the ending still gets me...
