Dale gritted his teeth. "That sounds much too reckless. What if I'd tried to tackle Dallas to the ground when the lights went off, to protect him? You might've shot me then. Though, that's more on Dallas than anyone, he was the one with the gun and the crazy plan."
"Speaking of which, he also came to see me that day. Or, more specifically, he asked me to go meet him in his room on Thursday, which I did. Didn't have anything useful to say in the end, though. Ultimately he said we should try to find the mastermind, which I agreed with, and so he informed me of the meeting Friday evening. After that things went as Silas said they did."

"My alibi is this: Dallas came to me and said... he talked about money, children, and people who would do anything for money. He told me to be in the foyer tomorrow night... but I could not listen to that creepy man. A-and when that blackout happened, I heard weird noises. I turned my handbook on for light and tried to find you guys. But then, I saw him, Dallas. He was running into the basement. Th-then something exploded, I think. The lights turned on and I check the basement. And... I saw it, him..."

"Okay....I'm getting super ahead of myself. I'm sorry, it's early, let me state my alibi. I was with everyone else in the room with Dallas. That's it. I'm sure everyone can vouch for my presence in the room. I...." she sighed, and pressed her fingertips to her temples. "I'm just not feeling it today. I can't focus."
She hurriedly reached into her pocket, pulled out a second vial and took the medicine in it, as well. Her shoulders relaxed and she sighed.
"He also accused me of being the mastermind. It was pretty....upsetting. and out of character of him, he was acting....aloof, I guess would be a good way to describe it. Definitely not calm or collected."

With a solemn expression on her face, Kagayaki drew her gohei and traced a circular pattern in the air for a few moments before tucking it away in her sleeve again.
"...He visited my room Thursday night as well, inviting me to the foyer while claiming to know that I was the mastermind. Perhaps he told several people that to gauge their reactions? In any case, I turned down his invitation; I did not wish to play along with his gambit. I was asleep in my room when the sound of a gunshot woke me, followed by two odd noises I could only assume were related to the bracelet codes. At that time, I realized the power had gone out, then the floor shook terribly, and shortly after it ended, the electricity came back on." She lowered her eyes shamefully. "Rather than investigate these strange occurrences, I... fell victim to cowardice and chose to remain in my room until I heard the announcement."

"Terry and I were assigned to investigate the foyer...Terry suggested something about the killer potentially using black paint to disguise himself, but that's like, kinda dumb...Anyways, we found some blood on the carpet, a rock with a bloodstain, and a bullet hole in the wall, which was probably Lyla's.."

Casey's face contorts into one of anger, and she kicks her podium loudly.
"Killing us with a bunch of stupid rules? Rules never help nobody. What a pain in the ass..."
Casey's eyes begin to water, and her face turns crimson.
"Kid was so young, man..."
After whining a little bit, Casey buts in with her alibi.
"Hey so yeah... *sniff*. I was one of the people Dallas talked to on Thursday... He said I was the mastermind, but I sort of thought he was messin' with me. I don't know... *sniff*. Now that kid is dead!"
Casey kicks her podium again.
"Uh... anyway, I wasn't gonna meet him in the foyer or nothing, since I figured I ain't really the mastermind so it wouldn't mean nothing. I met John in the Plaza and we found a door in the wall, which was great, then Penny showed up, and we talked and tried to get it open since it wasn't working and so that was kind of nice... *sniff*. After the power went out, sprinklers went off where we were for some reason, maybe because of the electrical stuff in the door, and that's why we're wet... *sniff*"
