"Look, this was a setup right? Null had to know this would happen or else it wouldn't have been a trial. So how did Null guarantee that this would happen? Especially if the humans among us had just been knocked out by gas?"

Teddy's face broke out into a dark grin. "Ya hear that, Adriana? No reason not to kill anyone who's... uncooperative. But since you've offered to take a look, I'll take you up on that. Even if you're a... campaign manager. Better try and remember everything you saw from Law & Order, eh?"

He lowered the poker, and regained his serious composure. "But before we start checking the body, we search each other for blood splatter, or anything else suspicious. Not expectin' much, but... we gotta try. Brad, Albert, and Helios, you check each other. Same goes for Midge, Emma, and Adriana."

A sick grin crawled onto Teddy's face. "I'll take care of Violet."

Sensing her imminent harm, Adriana spoke up. "W...wait-- okay, let's think about this for a second-- before anyone does anything rash. Ghost was wearing a hazmat suit, right? But the gas was from a lone canister-- if the hazmat suit is designed to filter out bad stuff, maybe Ghost himself didn't black out when the gas was released?"

Hearing Teddy's intentions, Adriana's face betrayed her concern for herself transitioning into a concern for someone else.

"You're not gonna... do anything... untoward, are you?"

"Of course not," Teddy replied coolly. "But even then... First, this," he waved the poker around a little, "And second, we really don't have fucking time to argue."

Teddy then nodded in agreement at Adriana's assessment of the suit. "The suit obviously isn't airtight, or else he'd have suffocated. We'll definitely need to investigate whether the suit had a filter... but nobody--else," Teddy added with a glance to Bradley, "is getting near the corpse until we've checked everyone for blood splatter. Now get to it!" he snapped as he grabbed Violet's wrist and dragged her to a corner of the room.

Adriana nodded, and attempted to examine Midge and Emma for blood spatter, then, submitted to her own inspection in-kind. Then, with slow deliberateness, she walked over to Ghost's body and examined his suit, and what parts of his body she had access to.

Midges wheezes a little as she watches Teddy drag Violet, her face pale. She complies with Adriana's search, barely even paying attention to it.

"Why the hell is Bradley with the adults, but Violet with you all of a sudden?!"

“G-Ghost…no… NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Albert collapses to the ground, tears streaming from his face. “W-who… w-who the fuck would w-want someone like y-you dead…? I’ll… make them pay… I swear… On m-my goddamn fucking body… I swear…”

He gets up in a surprisingly cohesive effort, and goes towards Helios and Bradley. “A-alright, you two… D-don’t try to stop me now… If you even fucking try, I’ll take that as a confession, alright…” He attempts to examine their persons to see what they have on them.

Bradley's weeping was interrupted as Albert, foolishly tried to force a search of him. Spinning around Bradley socked Albert in the jaw with as much force as he could muster. "Y-you don't get to TOUCH me!" He stammered through the tears which cut a path through the blood spatter on his face.

Suddenly, Bradley spotted Teddy grabbing Violet and forcefully pulling her off to the corner. "Wha....WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HER?!" He roared before sprinting across the room arms flailing "STOP THAT!"

Before he can reach the two, Albert runs up behind Bradley and catches him by his collar. His grip tightens almost immediately and he forces the boy to turn towards him. Instantly, Bradley can see that while tears are still streaming down his face, his eyes are burning with rage as well, and a droplet of blood is running down his mouth. He appears almost maniacal, though not to the point he reached in the previous trial. “L-listen here, you little shit. I am not taking no for a fucking answer. G-Ghost was ready to sacrifice his own life for you without any second thoughts. A-and meanwhile, here you are, desecrating his own fucking body like a… like a goddamn psychopath! T-try and fucking s-sock me again, kid, and you’ll regret it. I don’t give two shits how old you fucking are, that macabre display of yours makes you just as suspicious as every other ‘grown up’ in this room. G-got that, you damn brat?!”

Immediately after finishing his piece, Albert quickly starts searching Bradley without giving him a chance to respond. With the way his hold has tightened on him, it doesn’t seem too likely that Bradley will be able to escape from him with just any kick in the shin or sock in the jaw.

"I said DON'T TOUCH ME!" Bradley roared punching Albert squarely and solidly in the groin while flailing his entire body, his teeth finding Albert's hand forcing him to release the boy.

Then using his height to his advantage, Bradley quickly made a break for the dining table and slid under it where he would be extremely difficult to get out without a fight.

"LEAVE ME AND VIOLET ALONE!" He cried out from his position beneath the table followed by his gentle sobbing "Adults are supposed to protect children..." He sobbed quietly

Albert falls back in pain. Seeing Bradley run away from him, he just covered his face again in a mixture of pain and sorrow and gave a low growl. "Goddamn it... god fucking dammit..."

Teddy watches on with an expression of approval as Albert tries to handle Bradley. He... doesn't do that great a job of it. But the effort impresses him. "Well, Bradley is probably the least important one to search. Considering the circumstances, I'm not expecting a smoking gun," Teddy sighs. Still, he was glad Helios managed to get it done. "Just remember what I said about anybody who's uncooperative," Teddy says loudly, to ensure that Bradley could hear him from under the table.

Having finished his "search" of Violet and assuming that one of the women would've spoken up if any of them had found something, he went over to Ghost's corpse to begin searching it, and gestured for Emma and Adriana to do the same. "Alright, search the suit to see if there's some sort of air filtration system or internal gas tank, or if he was just breathing the same air we were. Then check the wound, and compare it to the other ones Bradley made. Then we'll do a general search of the body for anything else of note." Without wasting more time, and apparently without any regard to the fact that this was a human corpse in front of him, Teddy set to work.

Adriana did as instructed and started looking for some piece of machinery that looked like it took air in, with some sort of filtering unit. Occasionally, she spared glances at Violet to make sure she was okay.

As soon as Teddy had finished his search of her, Violet walked back to group. It didn't appear as though anything inappropriate had been done to her, but she definitely looked like she was angry about something.

Seeing that Violet is alright, Midge seems to regain her self awareness and shakes her head at Albert and brushes him away.

At Albert's suggestion, she said over her shoulder as she was going over Ghost's suit, "I don't care if you have a poker or not, any hand you lay on me is one you're not keeping. Besides, if Midge or Emma had anything incriminating on them, I'd have already said something."

Adriana stood up and snatched her purse, and began to back away from the group, leaving her back against the wall.

She then took the vaccine out of her purse and held it up for everyone to see.

"Anyone makes a move against me, and I'll destroy it." she said, grasping the plunger. "I'll pull out the plunger and dump it on this floor. None of you can get to me before I do it. Not even with a poker..."

Adrianna faced down the revolver with surprising poise. "I'm not going to do anything stupid-- that includes giving this vaccine to you. So if you decide to do something profoundly stupid, like pulling the trigger, you had best hit my head. Because otherwise, the last vaccine we have gets emptied on the floor."

“Ha!” Teddy laughed. It seemed to be genuine—the force caused his aim to waiver for a moment. (But just a moment.) “Have you already forgotten that we’re in my trial? I’m guaranteed to win if I take care of you all. Now, I don’t have anything against you guys, and have no problem getting as many of us out of here as we can, but as far as I’m concerned I already have a vaccine in my pocket, so don’t think I care about your threats to destroy that one.

“...But fine. I don’t have time to fucking waste on this,” Teddy said, and then started issuing orders. “Adriana, put the vaccine in your purse, and show Helios the other thing you have in there. Helios, take Adriana to the corner and watch her. Albert, check the smashed vaccines and try to figure out if it was one or two. Emma, investigate the body.”

Teddy keeps the gun trained on Adriana until Helios has her contained, and (assuming that goes smoothly) goes to watch over Emma’s inspection of the body, gun still drawn.

(He also twirled the gun a few times, for unknown reasons.)
