I dislike April Fool jokes and never do them myself. Mostly cause it's kind of... lost its appeal. I mean, wow, making a joke or falsifying evidence on April 1st? Ho boy, that'll be a shocker when I tell them it was a joke~ (If you want to shock people, do something big - like a few years ago, Abyssal Chronicles making fake screenshots of a Tales of the Tempest -R- start of production [I didn't fall for it and called them out how bad that joke was] - or do it on another day)
Also taught myself to generally not believe anything on the internet between March 31st (except Sakamoto Maaya's birthday) and April 2nd, due to potential time zones changing the dates for the other party. (And yet I walked into one today... *sigh* Oh well)

And I do have Asperger's. I'm not sure to what degree it is, though.

Glad to hear it! Haha, if her email is the real deal, I see no reason why she wouldn't be okay giving you her number. Only one way to find out...

Are you planning to ask her out, or are you waiting to see how things go?

You're talking to a (n austitic) former bully victim here. And quite frankly, I've grown up with the notion of being able to laugh at myself. Because if you can't laugh at yourself, you're dangerous. It means you can't take any criticism and could blow up and kill someone over something "trivial". I'm not "too cool to care" I just don't see the big problem with it - yes, bullying is bad and can cause mental stress, but that doesn't mean you still can't laugh at yourself.

It's great that you don't let it get you down. I mean that sincerely. Not everyone can, though. Some might be current victims of bullying, and seeing the same sentiments that they can't escape offline expressed online as well might be the final straw for them. They don't know you're autistic, or that you've been in the same boat as them. They just see someone condoning hate and dismissing their right to be upset about it as "being too sensitive."

There's a difference between laughing at yourself (even being okay with other people laughing at you) and saying it's no big deal for anyone to laugh at anyone. Some of it comes from a place of not taking yourself, or a group you're a part of, too seriously, but some of it comes from genuine hatred and intolerance. Again: without context, there's no way for an outsider to distinguish. All they'll see is someone reinforcing hatred against them.

Speaking of April Fool's jokes, is anyone surprised that there doesn't appear to have been one for this forum this year? I just figured the Administrators were keeping me in the dark about it, but it's now April 2 in about a third of the world.

Then why the hell put it in to begin with? It's like Vader wearing an "I'm your daddy" apron and then the large revelation that he's Luke's father, but we're supposed to be shocked but then also not be shocked by that twist. What? It's kind of silly to put it in...

They're not trying to surprise you with the fact that he's a villain. It's like Redd White. Plus, the Chief Prosecutor is part of a larger story. He's not a focal point like Darth Vader. Just because it's not a twist doesn't mean it can't be put in. As long as it serves the story

I used some wax strips to "shave" my eyesbrows somewhat. They came with a template form. I was first sceptical to use them because I don't like overly thin eyebrows (also defeats their purpose) but they looked decently "thick" enough so I tried them. According to my mom, it made them nice and symmetrical. And despite putting some cooling lotion on it afterwards, my skin still burns a bit.

Also, ever since the time change on Sunday, I've been sleeping badly and overall having my sense of time messed up.

In all the Aspergers' talk (my mother reckons I have it but I just don't think she understands introversion), I feel this got overlooked and this is definitely worth mentioning.

Congrats man :) That's pretty great news I'm real glad it worked out well for you, especially since you were so nervous about this for so long. Should have tried the phone number right there an then to make sure it works, hell you could probably still pull off that excuse. Least in my culture so far as I know it's common practice to just call a new phone number after you get it to check you've put it in right. It also serves the dual function of giving them your number as it will appear on their phone if the call goes through right. Though really well done man, I wish you happiness from this.

And good work Klonoa! You're one step closer to conquering that girl's route! After that, THE WORLD!
Me on the other hand. My coworkers told me that the girl I'm interested in works at the Starbucks not too far from my job, and they suggested that I start going over there occasionally. Guess it's time to develop an interest in coffee.

Pfft Coffee! They sell some other things, awesome hot chocolates and some nice little iced smoothie things. The problem I have is the sheer cost, Costa ain't cheap for places but good for you Blak-kun!

Also if the e-mail is good you can probably bet the phone is good as well. Means you can skype her no?

I'm pretty unfamiliar with Starbucks stuff, but I've been told I should get a frappuccino since I don't care for coffee. As long as she doesn't know I'm visiting her workplace on purpose, it's not considered stalking B|

Go for it! Are you a tea drinker? Starbucks is pretty expensive, but a plain cup of tea is a lot cheaper than any fancy coffee drinks you don't even want.

They've also got some pretty good iced tea lemonades, if that's your thing. Or just buy a snack and hang out. Whatever works, as long as you... actually talk to her sometimes, haha.

Yeah, I think she considers it inherently wrong, but most of my close friends have moved away from home and a few of my lifestyle choices have left me a bit isolated at times so I just had to learn to entertain myself *shrug*.

OK, so I got my hands on volume 1 of Melancholy and found out that the series is a novel franchise. And better yet, they are all localized. Now I know which one I'm going to spend my money on.

Coffee is an absolute god-mode beverage. I'm actually suprised that so little people here like coffee, but I have no basis on why that should be the case. As people stated: the main downside to starbucks is the cost, but they sure can make a good cuppa coffee! I'm an avid coffee drinker and I prefer it black, so I don't deal with many extra costs, but take into account that the more you push your coffee into milkshake territory (read: make it more sweet) then you'll even have to pay extra for the supplements.

So i went to check the Gamestop about 10 minutes from my University to see if they had Professor Layton and the diabolical box, they didn't.
...But the cashier said they could order it from a different Gamestop and they'd have it by Monday or Tuesday, so i told them i'd bring the money tomorrow and have them order it.

...I guess this mission's complete?

Only when you have the item in your hand is it mission complete.

Also, there was SOMETHING I wanted to add to the Headcanon for the AA series... but I can't remember what it was...

I don't rely on coffee to stay awake, I have enough trouble sleeping as it is so I have to prohibit myself from drinking no more coffee after dinner. Coffee is simply delicious, especially the extra robust coffee blend we have at home, but it's a matter of taste I guess. You're missing out DoMaya.

OK, so I got my hands on volume 1 of Melancholy and found out that the series is a novel franchise. And better yet, they are all localized. Now I know which one I'm going to spend my money on.

By the way, anyone remember Warriors?

Haha, of course!
That was one of the HUGE serieses at my old school apparently everyone was reading other than Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Oh yeah, what's Melancholy?

Go back about 2 or 3 pages. You'll find it. It is short for "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya".

I LOVED that series but it just got to the point where it kept going on and on. By the end, I just decided I had to finish it out of some sick obligation that I was twenty books in. I was in fucking eleventh grade still reading it. I heard there was a prequel series, but I'm not concerned with that. I'm done. It'll never live up to the original

Coffee is pretty good when made under optimum conditions.

It's just that tea is better.
