I'm watching the Nostalgia Critic's 4th Commercials video. And that Take Care Of Me Twins advertisement is hilarious, it is so cool! Kids should totally have to take care of dolls that will bug you for hours, even wake you at night. He calls it passive-aggressive, I say it's a good way to keep kids (or teens) from getting romantic ideas of raising a kid and it being a breeze.

Maybe I just haven't tried the right blends, but I've never cared for coffee. I enjoy a nice black tea, though--especially an Assam.

I rarely ever drink coffee... I think the last time was about 11 years ago, during a ralley with classmates on a trip. We had to drink a concotion and figure out the eight ingredients. One of them was definitely coffee. As for coffee itself, I like the smell of it. But I prefer to drink cola if I want a caffeine shot.

Well luckily for me Nestle has a standard 'gold' variation of instant coffee, but also a special 'red' variation which is more robust and bitter. If you put 2 1/4th teaspoon in a 0,3l mug then you got absolutely great coffee within 5 minutes! I love it!

I'm not really sold on the idea of instant coffee. However, I do love a cup of joe so I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it.

Well, I was explaining something to one of my teachers, something that had gotten me pissed earlier that day. And I tend to get very... expressive when I'm pissed.

So, I slammed the screen shut... and the computer fell on the floor. :sadshoe:

Luckily all my files are safe and backed up onto an external hard drive, but I'm gonna be stuck without my laptop for a couple weeks while they replace the screen...

The best kind of coffee I've had is usually in a nice restaurant. Sometimes I'll find a decent hazelnut at the Hess gas station, or I'll enjoy something from McDonald's or Dunkin Donuts. But even then the quality can vary.

It especially varies when you try brewing it yourself. You need the right water (not fluoridated), fresh grounds that are properly stored (such as in a foil bag, or some kind of airtight container), and a coffee maker that uses paper filters. I've tested both fluoridated and non-fluoridated water and coffee grounds varying in freshness and there is a difference. Well, it also helps to clean out the coffee maker once a week as well.

One thing I would love to have is one of those coffee makers where the inside parts are made out of metal as opposed to plastic. I don't know who thought that heating anything in plastic was a good idea. Unfortunately, right now, that is my only option.

I don't drink coffee. Sometimes when I am in the presence of fellow men and they are hanging around a pot, I'll make a cup and take a drink. It takes about 5 sips before I finally through it out. I'm much more of a cappuccino and frappuccino person (the later only if it is from Starbucks or [preferred] McDonald's)

I do on occasion, but I'm a terribly lazy man so I am tempted to use the instant one. In my defence: It tastes really good for instant coffee. But the real deal indeed stays the best.

I just got a PS3 yesterday, and I got 2 games for it: Metal Gear Rising: Revengance and Ico + Shadow Of The Colossus HD collection. I'm planning on getting Little Big Planet, Little Big Planet 2, Playstation All Stars Battle Royale, and The Ratchet And Clank HD Collection. Are there any other games not on that list that you guys would recommend? Thanks.

inFAMOUS, Okami (unless you've already played it on PS2 or Wii), Uncharted (if you can handle a smug American protagonist), Bioshock, there's probably more but I'm drawing a blank.

Dozens, but I'm not entirely sure what your preferred Genre is. According to this, it looks like action games and some platformers... and aside from MGR, I can't think of any ones that look good enough. At least, for me, a gamer who overall isn't a big Metal Gear fan but Revengance sounded and looked fun.

And I am thinking of buying donkey kong country returns for my Wii...

How can anyone think Sera Masumi from Detective Conan is a guy at first? Just looking at the hair, I said "That's a girl" and when I saw the face, it was even more obvious. So what's with this running joke that Sera is constantly mistaken for a guy at first? Yeah she supposedly has no boobs, but come on, those aren't the only things that make someone look like a woman.

I have Little Big Planet, I'd totally recommend it but since that's on the list.. GTA is good as well, if you like such games where you can drive around with a car while shooting people down.

You know, that Conan case with the car vandalism and it was because items or things were obstructing the rear window and they did it cause they got into an accident with their child a while ago. You know, this may sound like a sympathetic reason and all... and I do feel for the person to have lost their child, but...

"Unfortunately, didn't see you pushing the stroller behind their car."

Okay, what kind of DUMB PERSON pushes the stroller IN THE PARKING AREAS. More specifically, the point where CARS PARK? Where you WOULD be BEHIND the car, which is a known BLIND SPOT? That person deserved to get into an accident for being so stupid as to push the stroller THERE. Not that the kid should've died, but come on... how fucking STUPID of that person!

Behind the car isn't a blind spot...the blind spot in a car is over your shoulder. The rear view mirror is there for exactly the purpose of seeing out the back window. People are required to check it before they leave as part of the driving test.

People need to take strollers to Car Parks all the time in real life, if they are taking the shopping back to their car they have to take the baby with them. The problem you have is they have to walk behind cars but either way they are going to need to cross the car park somewhat to get to the car. Be it in a trolley seat or a pram it's still something that they have to do. Nothing particularly stupid about it.

Alright, I've been dealing out lots of feedback as part of my education for the last 4 days and I'm done with it for the time being. Score so far:
6 points out of 12 feedback scored
8 feedback is still unvalidated (I can receive points for them)
10 Points required to pass course.

The trick is that you can earn: 0 / 0.5 / 1 / 1.5 points per feedback, all I can do now is wait for the final 8 feedback to be evaluated.

Time to celebrate by drinking a cold one with my friends!

If you're a fan of really challenging action games then you have to get God Hand on the PSN. It's a little awkward to play at first and the difficulty can be pretty brutal on your first playthrough (even on easy), but it's tons of fun once you get the hang of it.

Absolutely, but I in no way see why any sane person would take a stroller at this particular spot. I am currently looking for the manga page, hang on... Here we go. Look at where the run over stroller is. That is NOT a place where I would take a stroller along. That's in front of the parking spot block. That almost looks like you're begging to be hit by a car preparing to park. And again. Walking behind a car... that's just... wrong.

The responsibility would still be on the driver, they shouldn't block their rear view mirror and would have seen the tall adult pushing the pram even if they couldn't see the stroller.

Also I can't tell much from that picture or the situation, it's possible the buggy was pulled under the car then when the parent (presumably) screamed and the driver noticed they immediately went forward for fear they might hit something and pulled the buggy back. The car looks perfectly parked there so it presumably moved back into position. The buggy is totally crushed too so presumably it went under the car instead of just a bump.

Nothing eventful happened today outside of making my crush laughed.

There was a guy who was sitting in the same row as us who kept annoying, think Carlos from the Magic schoolbus.
Anyway karma must have hit because when class was over hi's usb drive broke in half, quite filled that area that our little group was sitting in as we stared at the broken usb drive, until i looked at her and said "...Not gonna lie, that the most entertaining things i've seen all day." Which led to her trying to hold back laughter.

A fitness stuiod I applied to last week rejected me for working at their reception, without even giving me an interview. Their rejection letter was longer than most, basically aplogizing for not even "giving me the time for an interview"... and I got a coupon for a free day in their studio.

I am torn between anger of being denied a job... and laughing at the hilarity of this...

*shrugs* Sometimes applications don't make it to the interview stage unfortunately. On the plus side that's a sweet coupon, don't know many places that offer consolation prizes like that. :kristoph:

Just got off the phone to Nintendo, apparently their protocol for 3rd time repairs is just to send a replacement console. They say they'll try and restore the data that was lost (and they better) but the support dude reckoned I should call up management and make a complaint to get some compensation for all my trouble.

Well I'm just glad it's an absolute solution for once, so long as they restore my purchases and Nintendo ID on the new 3DS.

*cough* I decided to buy the Green Tea Genmai Flavor from the asian shop. Genmai = Rice. It... *cough* it's quite a strange taste... but... actually... letting it sit on my tongue after a taste, it has a sweet aftertaste. Is that the rice or just the green tea?
