You have an excellent world view of yourself and what you want to be, and that's not something you commonly find in most people. Though, perhaps, that shouldn't be quite so unexpected in a person known as an Ultimate; they do, after all, know exactly what they're good at."
Nick laid his hands on the counter, giving Marshall a direct look. "As for the name, I believe I told you that you can call me whatever you damn well please, so long as it wasn't insulting. And I meant it; my name is whatever you want it to be, and the name I put on my business card holds no value to me, because that's not the name someone else calls me by. If you want to call me Nick, do so. If you want to call me Teach, that's absolutely fine. 'Chrome Job', 'Silver', 'Worst Teacher Ever', I do not care. I only ask that you do not insult me, as any basic human being should, and I, in return, refer to you with respect, as anyone, whether they're in a position of power or authority or not, should. And if we can do just that single, simple thing, maybe you'd notice that I have always strived to respect you for who you are, first and foremost. He leaned back, sighing. "And if I wanted to threaten you, I'd be much more overt about it and I wouldn't be beating around the bush about it. I'd go straight for it instead. So, if you're feeling threatened, allow me to apologize, for that wasn't my intent.
"I can assure you that you are safe, and if you have any problems with security, I'll take care of them myself. You can even tell me right here and now that your problem with security is my apparently unnecessary presence, and if enough of you agree, I will willingly walk out of those doors and never return, for that'd mean I failed threefold; as a teacher, as a protector, and as a basic human being."
His tone had never reached above a quiet disappointment, as if he had been speaking only to Marshall, alone in a classroom, yet he had no problems letting himself be heard in all those present.

"H-hey, sorry. I guess I went too hard on him huh? I'm okay, don't worry. I wasn't going to do anything," he gives a weak smile.
He looks back at Nick as he gives his speech.
"Alright, I will quit commenting on your performance, teach. I'll give you a truce on this so that we can keep on living on here."
"Also that thing about me having a strong vision is wrong."

It'd be clear to anyone that cared that he really was concerned with his impression on the quarterback, and that it wasn't doing any favors to his mental state, but he quickly smiled through his fears and worries. "Hurry up, kiddos, we've got a long day, and as they say, time waits for no man! Do try to be ready before the call to board the train; it wouldn't loon good on anyone's record that they got left behind!"
He needed to get out. This lack of confidence was surely showing on his bearing; he needed to assure himself that he was doing the right thing!
