The humming of the rock seems unmistakably like Hazel's voice at this point. The players recall the book which Hazel had found in the parlor originally and held onto (which Wesley is referring to), which described the green stones as being used to communicate with the dead...

This round can and will put people to sleep upon loss. Luka qualified for receiving the sedative. Everything is fine from the admin perspective.
The stone has stopped talking. Apparently, whatever was haunting it has lost interest in conversing.

Anyway, rumor says that it can be resurrected somehow. That’s what the natives who worship it think at least. And fun fact, but every single warbler has a unique song. Like snowflakes or fingerprints. Err, more like fingerprints.
"Eventually I had a hypothesis—what if the Symphonic Warbler’s songs might have something to do with its ability to come back from the dead? I came across something called the Morphogenetic Field Theory, which is a pseudo-scientific theory that says that information exists in a plane above the material plane, and that the thoughts and souls of living creatures actually exist on this plane. Occasionally a person might access information through the field when they experience intense situations, such as danger or epiphanies. The theory was used to explain a series of phenomenon like ghosts, strange coincidences, and shit like that.
"What if the soul of the Symphonic Warbler existed on the Morphogenetic Field, and what if their souls were pulled back out of the Morphogenetic Field to re-inhabit their bodies? This was the theory I began working on. My theory also proposed that two points on the Morphogenetic Field were proximal if they both represented the same complex piece of data. So if every Symphonic Bird could be very quickly identified by its call, then logic follows that its soul would exist around the same location.
