Oh you know, this and that. Real life stuff, plus I had to focus on college stuff a bit, 'cause I flunked the first bimester real hard and I figured it was time to buckle up. But now I'm on vacation so fuck it

And while we're on the subject of vacations and sleeping, damn, I should start getting some more sleep too. I compromised myself to wake up 10 AM to jog at the park, but I can't sleep before 3 AM.

Are all the upcoming Shadow Selves in Persona 4 this weird?
Now the Hulky Guy With Rose Crown was okay. But after seeing a drug-trip-patterened bad stripper thrusting her crotch into my face to burn me, not to mention rubbing said crotch against a pole and the Chucky incarnation... I'm wondering if I need to get high to finish this game without having my jaw drop into a dislocating state.
Although maybe dislocating my jaw would help with the alignment...

Well there's a difference between charming idea of the shadows' weird forms and then there's, "What did you smoke and can I have some?" stuff that just makes me wonder. That pole dancer just freaks me out...!

And question.
What are everybody's home remedies for constipation? I read various things and some say Yoghurt is good, although I was told by a pharmacist that milk-based food is generally a factor in constipation. Others say taking two tablespoons of castor oil is helpful. Some say chewing pure mint.

That depends on the kind of yoghurt you're taking, there are special ones out there specifically for this kind of case. We have one here called Activia, which contains a substance called "DanRegularis", known to help rearranging the intestinal flora.

Castor oil is gross and stuff but as far as I know, the more strong and bitter the better.

PS: Oh yeah I've heard about Activia. I always thought they were just lying cause I don't see how a yoghurt can help much...

I thought it was bullshit too, I hardly believe TV commercial banter, but my doctor recommended it to me once and I gave it a try, taking 1~2 glasses per dinner, and turns out it works! Crazy stuff.

My Diet of Hot Pockets, Taco Bell, Ramen, Carl's Jr (a hamburger place), and Subway means I've never been constipated before.

I've also never had a nosebleed, or chapped lips, and I haven't thrown up in over *thinks for a second* 4 years!

(and the time I did throw up was when I forced myself to vomit the pills I had tried to OD on.)

...Okay, Subway is pretty much the closest to being 'healthy' with all the salad and vegetables (and fruits like Tomatoes) and the option to pick a whole-grain/whole-wheat bread... but the rest seems pretty unhealthy. I eat McD at least once a week, alongside Ramen, other types of instant-noodles (with cheese or tomato sauces on it) and I eat salads off and now, when they're with dinner... and I get constipated every now and then.

Then again, I like to think that I am more likely to do that due to an illness over ten years ago...

Geez what's so bad about a bedroom that you could get kicked out?

I had a pretty rough night at work because of one grumpy conniving customer. However for the first time I actually managed to get a group of friends together to just chill and play a game online, something we've been trying for a long time ^_^ So it's all wonderful.

She doesn't really want to kick me out, but she acts all disappointed and stuff, saying I'm immature and I don't respect myself. You know, the typical "straight mom and rebel son" stereotype. I just laugh it off.

But yeah, really, what COULD be so bad about your bedroom that would make your dad wanna kick you out?

Oh I've not done that in a long time, I should gather some friends and do the same. It's real fun. But lately all my friends wanna play is FIFA this and Call of Duty that and stuff, and I've quit FIFA for a while now

Yeah dealing with shitty customers is common for me. Hey! My store is located next to a retirement village, so I get grumpy old customers EVERYDAY!

I'm having friends spend the night on Monday to celebrate my birthday on Tuesday. Gun play some Smash Bros to get hype, and then watch the GURREN LAGANNN!!!! movies (the actual series is better, but the second movie adds some awesome new scenes in fights). HAAAIIIPPPEEE!!!!!

Oh man, another person I know to be born in July! I'm on the 10th, my mother is today on the 14th, tomorrow is my Uncle's and then you the next day...

And my mom wants me to come along to the dinner today... with a group of 10 people.
'Just a small group' she says. That's not small! A small group is what I call 4-5 people and that's already close to my limit of social interaction I can take. And tomorrow we're off to my uncle's for his birthday and my two young cousins will be there... Last time I worked around kids for hours, I ended up with migraines...

You're lucky you have friends to play video games with. None of my friends are that into them. I've tried to get them to play some, but I never have much success. Apart from 999, which one of my friends really enjoyed.

Anyway, I have to look for a campsite for my family to go to this year in Northumberland. It's this time of year again. ^^;;

Well, I didn't go. She left me to decide for myself and I decided to not go.
She called me boring, but Eh. Said I should've come, turns out there were only 5 people there to begin with and I knew 3 of them, so it probably wouldn't have been so bad. I just didn't want to wash my hair...
Dumb reason, but yeah. That was a condition to go.

I dislike washing my hair. It happened a few times that I got panic attacks while washing my hair, so I guess it's understandable that I got a slight aversion to it~? Plus, I'm also lazy and washing hair is just something tedious that needs to be done over and over.
But I'm gonna try and get a job interview tomorrow, so there's something to 'force' me to do it...

If you get panic attacks from washing your hair, is it from getting water in your face? Because if so, it could help if you wash them in the bath tub. You know, just lying back, with your face staying up in the dry air. It worked for me.
If you don't have a bath tub, you could try covering your face with a wash cloth or a towel while you wet your hair.

Does anyone else associate one thing with something that might seem odd at first? I've noticed that whenever I have pita chips, I end up thinking about Battletoads. I think it's because I was eating pita chips while watching a playthrough of said game on YouTube a few months ago.

I don't take showers. I don't like showers, I never feel like they even warm me up because the water never hits the entire body, only parts of it and the others parts are too cold in the air. Hence I generally only take baths. And Pessimistic Fool, I do wash my hair like that at times. Panic attacks mostly come from my mind wandering off to certain topics that I don't want it to and I guess the panic attack makes me focus to get away from it.
Still not very pleasant.

As for the hygiene thing... I don't have lice or anything like that.
Only thing I do have is dandruff and that's not very bad. The most I went was wash my hair not for a week or two, eventually I do wash my hair again.

Luigi... I guess I do.
But more on a subconscious level, where I think of something and end up on an entirely different topic next and I wonder how I got there.

I do that all the time. Like associating the Woodfall Temple from Majora's Mask to dentists. I was playing through it before I went to a dentist to put braces when I was 9.

*stands up*
Hello. My Name is Cat-Alin. I am 23 years old.
And I have just recently begun to get an urge to drink alcohol.
*sits back down*

Okay, not really, but I need to elaborate.
See, my mother raised me and generally gave me a sip of her beer if she was drinking one as I was growing up. That way, I tasted alcohol and it was never treated as something forbidden and bad for me. Which resulted in my not going out and drinking without restraint at any point just because I was legally allowed to drink alcohol when I turned 18 years old.
I knew what alcohol tasted like, so it was nothing special to me - and I thank my mother for that, it has certainly saved me from getting alcohol poisoning like a ton of other kids who grew up in a household where alcohol was the evilness and nobody was allowed to touch it until they were 18 years old! Those kids see it as a forbidden fruit and everybody knows what they do. So those kids go out, drink without knowing their limits and end up with alcohol poisoning and shot livers by the time they turn 25 years old.

I don't like alcohol that much. It generally has a sour or burning taste, which I don't like very much. And I've spent time around tons of open beer bottles during my stint of cleaning up in cinemas, so a ton of the smell is really disgusting to me.
But lately, I felt like drinking alcohol for fun.
At my birthday dinner last week, I ordered a Pina Colada. I liked virgin coladas and the alcoholic one tasted nice, too, although I think it required a bit more cream/coconut milk... And today, I chose to drink a slightly-alcoholic kind of beer. One beer bottle, all to myself.
I got past the halfway point before we left the visit to my uncle's birthday celebration and I didn't take the bottle home. So... up to now, in my 23 years, I have not been drunk yet, nor have I felt like I drank much alcohol.

I'm kind of torn between thinking it's good...
And part of me thinking, I really just wanna get drunk once...
Although that part is really small!

I'm not sure what to tell you, Cat. I avoid alcohol altogether, so I can't speak from experience on this one, though I've never thought highly of the idea of drinking just to get drunk. Drinking for the taste of the drink is something I can get behind, though my fear of addiction will keep me from participating.

I'll always love you, Max.
