Zarmilla was up early, busily trying to make some waffles in the kitchen. This was obviously a quite difficult task without a waffle iron, and she was still a little high-strung, so anyone who approached was greeted to the sound of her rapidly smacking a mound of batter with a meat tenderizer in an attempt to give it a checkerboard pattern.
