That... is another lie! Again, your testimony conflcts with the autopsy report.
The report say the victim was shot with a .44 revolver. A simple revolver, not a Magnum.

Second: We could'nt tell right away that it was a revolver, the design of the gun looks very close to a regular Magnum. We're not exactly experts on types of guns.

Well, I don't know about you, but as far as I'm concerned, there is a... damn, what was the name of that thing... balloon, ballerina, ballista.... wait... oh yeah, ballistics, there is a ballistics department that is in charge of determining the types and shapes of weapons and bullets.
If you didn't consult them to realize the gun was a revolver and not a Magnum, then you did not consult them at all. I mean, without ballistics, you couldn't even know the gun found at the crime scene was actually the murder weapon!
Again, this smells like negligence! By the way, if you get fired, can you tell me? I have a younger brother that wants to enter the force and could take your place.
