"...Hmph."
By now, Merry would have literally THREW herself at the defense for asking so many questions. But she restrained, knowing that the baliff would take her away if she attempted to attack the rather annoying lawyer.
Clenching her fists a little, she replied between her teeth, "I dunno. These guys were fighting about giving 'it'a name and a gender. THAT'S THE STUPIDEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD! WHO GIVES A FRIGGIN' ROBOT A NAME?! Geezus..." She released her anger at the end of her sentence, but still remained on the wooden stand,
"Then they're like "turn 'it' in to HQ" and they argued more about "finding something or someone" and BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH ALL THAT STUPID CRAP! I didn't really pay attention to those annoying two buggers! THEN, IT STARTS GETTING REALLY LOUD to a point where some guy slams the door and it's over. Thank god one em' was shot, at least that dude can't go arguin' about some machine around my apartment no more!"

Xero sighed. He wasn't going to get much from this witness. "Alright..." Back to the Cross-Examination, he thought...

"That day, I was in my apartment, doing stuff that normal art majors would do - Y-You know! ...stuff on the computer! That's all I was d-doing! I s-swear!"

:holdit:

He really didn't want to get off-track, but this sounded very suspicious. "Stuff on the computer? Could you be more specific, please?"

((Sorry it took so long! I apologize for the long wait Insho...But I'm back :P ))

"U-uh..." Merry gave a look of hesitancy, before opening her mouth again, "W-well uh...you see..."
She then squinted at the defense, her nostrils flaring with much ambiguity.

"Why would YOU want to know, Mr.know-it-all? Why would you want to know what an innocent 19 year old lady like me is doing on the computer, huh?"

Merry paused, as if she was stopped in time and fixed her eyes right through the defense attorney.

"BECAUSE YOU'RE A PERVERT! YOU JUST WANTED TO SEE IF I W-"

The baliff cupped her mouth before she could say anything more and nodded to the Judge as if it was time to move on to the next question.

((Thank goodness... I was worried that we would never continue!))
"M-Mr. Wright, please, try to be a little... erm... more sensitive to our witness."

Edgeworth let out a long sigh. His impatience was noticeable; arms crossed, finger tapping... "Mr. Wright, your stalling is only costing this court even more time and money. So if you would, please get on with the cross examination!"
