Edgeworth closed the evidence file, after glancing through it. Everything seems to be in order, but one can never be too sure. Taking the file with him, he set off for the scene of the crime.

When he arrived at the restaurant, he found two people, a man and a young girl, sitting at a table, with a waitress standing nearby. There were no police officers around, and no sign of any barriers blocking off vital areas. Is this what qualifies for police presence at a murder scene nowadays? I think Gumshoe needs some help, and not just that therapist I've been recommending.

The people at the table hadn't noticed Edgeworth, so he strode quietly up to them from behind. Glancing over the man's shoulder, he saw a journal. The man was flicking through the diary with a pair of tweezers. How unusually professional... "While I can see you're taking due care with the evidence, you should still hand it in to the police," he said.

"Edgeworth!" Julia said, standing up and doing a small curtsey. "It's an honor to meet you." she said. She dusted off her skirt and whispered something in Mary's ear. "That guy I was sitting with really meant to say 'steak'."

As Maggey finished up the meatball sub and put the closed sign on the counter, she thought of Gumshoe. He was always clumsy, and forgetful, but you can't get rid of him; he's gum on your shoe, after all. She ran to the precinct, sub in her hand, and looked for Michael Rivers.

Gumshoe had wondered where Franziska was taking him. He had figured the precinct, but he was a bit dazed after those whippings. He was just thinking about if Maggey delivered the sub, when he remembered something. "The drycleaning!"

Michael walked up to the woman in the SUBWAY! apron who was holding what looked like a meatball sub. "And you are?" he said. Maggey blushed a little, but she straightened up. "Maggey Byrde, sir! This is your meatball sub from Detective Gumshoe... sir!" she said.

"...The drycleaning?" Michael said. "..Sir?" Maggey asked.

"WHERE'S MY DRYCLEANING!??!?!" Michael yelled.

Maggey whimpered and ran to every laundromat to look for Rivers' drycleaning.

The man in the red suit with the dapper crevat had to be Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth, famous for getting the guilty verdict. "Hello, Detective Gumshoe. And you must be Mr. Miles Edgeworth. A pleasure to be sure." Gregory put down the tweezers and extended a gloved hand. "Yes, I've no intention of denying the police their evidence. Don't worry." Looking through the notebook hadn't yielded anything fruitful (or had it?), so Gregory, after he finished speaking with Edgeworth, removed his gloves and looked toward the waitress. "I'm really sorry for your loss. Do you think you have time to answer a few questions about the night of the crime?" Gregory tried to delicately step around the word murder.

"Oh, of course" exclaimed Boris "Sorry for not introducing myself". He immediately began working on the soup at a quick pace. "Ahem, My name is Boris Man Fonne, Assistant chef at Vederos Restaurant" he pronounced while chopping the celery. He paused "That man you were with, do you know him?" he asked "Is he by any chance, the defense lawyer?" Julia nodded. Boris tossed the celery in and began preparing the steak "Well, I could only assume he isn't a detective..." he nervously chuckled. Once the soup was finished, he handed Julia the bowl "Well, I don't suppose.. the lawyer would be interested in the recipe?" he asked "I suppose if it would help in any way..."

Chicken Soup Recipe given to Julia.

"But please" said Boris "I only want it to be viewed by the defense, if the media publishes it..." It was now Julia's turn to look confused "Don't let its first impression of simplicity fool you, it's, in a way, the restaurants most valued information". "Oh, and also..." Boris reached into the bin and pulled out Holly's soup bowl '...the soup bowl'. It still had various ingredients of the former soup in it.

Small Take-Out Bowl given to Julia.

"Ahh yes. This looks wonderful." she said, taking a sip. She opened the small take-out bowl and saw that there was one ingredient that seemed out of place. As she compared the soup she was eating to the one in the styro bowl, she checked the recipe as well. Julia stood up, one bowl in each hand, and the paper in between her teeth. She spit the paper onto the counter and showed Boris the two soups. "Boris," she said, "Why is there artichokes in Holly's bowl?"

She put the two bowls on the counter and waited for his reply, when she noticed a small jar of artichokes in the corner of the counter. "Boris, is that.. yours?"

"At the time for murder i was here at the resturant and served Holly. My oppinion of the murder is that i think the chef was the murderer. He was the only that could have put potion in the soup" Mary said and smiled.

Gregory started to take notes. "I see...Was there anyone else who had access to the soup that might have handled it." Gregory tried to have the waitress focus on him so she'd be more at ease. Julia returned from the kitchen to report that she lost a piece of evidence to Gregory, when she tripped. But she was saved by a boy, about her age, a year older, so maybe 12. "H-hi." the boy said, smiling. Julia just smiled back. "Th-thank you." she said, blushing. The boy and Julia just blushed and stuttered until they finally introduced themselves. "I'm Dustin. My uncle works here, so I kind of.. help out." the boy said. Julia nodded along. "I'm.. Julia. I'm helping my teacher on a case."

"That's cool." Dustin said. "Hope to see you around."

Julia nodded and waved goodbye as she watched Dustin walk away. Julia practically melted. She sat at the table Gregory was sitting in. Gregory looked confused, as he saw the whole thing.

Gregory tried to look as unfazed as possible by the cute eyes. Truth be told, he envied that a teacher only had to work 10 months. "Actually the resturant was closed when dear Holly was here. She was a food critican and she would have been good advertising for the resturant. Actually I dont know why the chef would have murdered Holly if he only was good for the resturant. Maybe Holly didnt like the food." Mary said.
