Saving with new language?

I was just wondering if my game (that I play in English) will be erased if I started a new game in French and then saved the French game. I'd really appreciate if someone could answer :D

Are they different games? Like, different cartridges? Cos it saves to the cartridge, not your DS.

You will never know til you try. I doubt it if it is two different separate game cards though.

No, They save as two difference save files. I have 2-4 Ending saved in English and about halfway into 2-3 in Japanese saved. It should work the same exact way.

It's one save file but the save data is partitioned by language preference. :yuusaku:

If you're in the middle of case 3 in English and you suddenly start in Japanese, only case 1 is available and when you save, so both save points are not exchangable where you can continue in another language.

For some reason all unlocked data is cleared when you finish the game completely in either language. So if I finish the game in English, I can start on case 5 in Japanese if I never touched that language option. :adrian:

I tried it out on holiday. In French, I had all my AA English cases, so I went to 1-1. I saved at the beginning, and still had my English file near the beginning of RftA. Now I'm halfway through Turnabout Samurai in French. All by memory of course, I can speak very little French.

Yup, that feature is very awesome.
I can train my French that way without having to play through it completely to be able to start with every case I want.
