With that case, there actually was someone other than the defendant who could have killed Elg, as anyone who has finished the case knows. However, in this case, the only two people who could have hired de Killer were Adrian and Matt. If Matt is declared innocent, then Adrian would have no way out.

The fact still remains that while there were two women whose lives were on the line, only one of those was in immediate danger. Even if the chances of saving Adrian were slim to none, that's more of a chance Maya had if you didn't do what de Killer demanded.
I don't really understand why I'm the only one expected to defend my choice just because most of the other people in this thread went "I hated Jerkface Matt more than I liked Maya and she said she was willing to die to get him anyway so I should honor her wishes."
