If they bring Matt back, they would have to bring back even MORE characters then, since... well... like I need to explain where Matt is AFTER JFA. lol.
Also, bringing Matt back would, to be honest, take away his "edge" he had in JFA. I mean, after his "revelation", he was only good until he was brought to justice, right? Not only that, but bringing him back means bringing back Shelly as well (like HE wouldn't make an appearance if Matt was in another story), and, well... I can't really think of a role for him besides a revenge storyline (unless Phoenix has to defend him for killing someone in PRISON... that'd be kind've useless though... Why?)

Only a few characters would still have any "edge" and hence, a reason for being back after the 4th game. hmm... Maybe Manfred von Karma... Damon Gant... heck, most people from case 5 of PW:AA could be used later on (aside from Meekins and Ema, for obvious reasons). I'm no saying that Matt would not be INTERESTING... but he wouldn't be AS interesting as he was previously. For one thing, he could ONLY be in his "calculated" persona, since It's not like
would be believable anymore... maybe for Apollo though, but as soon as Phoenix saw him, that'd be the end of THAT look.

I really like Matt for some reason... When I first saw him in JFA, I thought he was just an adorable, clueless idiot. And I loved him for it. <3
Then later when he reveled his true self, I thought he was one of the most awesome villains in the game. And I loved him even more for it. :3

-ahem- Actually, I love Matt to bits. <3 My favorite PW 'villian', then Gant. I just love his personality, both the 'pretend' one and the real one. "Hold on, Gotta consult myself." best line ever, yes? xD
Also, you know what I realized? Matt refers to him as "Mister Lawyer", and Luke says "Sir Lawyer." It seems Phoenix gets some respect from those with guilty verdicts, neh?

The monologue kicked ass. I did it for drama, and the teacher loved it. And so did the rest of the class. I made sure that none of them had any intention of playing JFA first, though. Don't want to spoil the awesomest part of the game...Next to "G-g-g-g-GGGG-UIILTYY-YYYYY-YY!", of course.
