The reason Nick doubted Adrian's guilt was that she was continuing to deny that she did it even when it was 'clear' that she 'did'.

We understand that. It's just that that is a really weak argument. Thus:

Katana said something about it being 'just the look on her face', so I assumed he wasn't taking the things I mentioned into account.

I didn't mind it. It was a very well written case, but I got bored at the end.

Well guys, I finished it. To be honest, I can see where you are all coming from with it being epic and amazing and what not, but I somehow already knew Matt had a dual personality (maybe I saw a spoiler somewhere here) so the twist wasn't that great.

However, with that aside, I have to admit it was one hell of a case. I had so much fun with it that when I saw Maya's little drawing on the card at the end, I had one of those AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW moments. :larry2: It was really awesome. I loved the Investigation ~ Core 2002 theme as well (probably my fav theme from that game).

I'm now playing T&T, finished the first case and am on the first court proceeding of case 2, and so far, both cases have been better than JFA (with exclusion to 2-3, that case was awesome!!!!!). Not once have I felt like "ugh, I don't like it but I should keep playing till it gets good" like I did with case 2-4. Maybe it's just me?

Just gonna jump in here, how could you possibly enjoy 2-3? That was enough to put me off the Phoenix Wright games for 2 weeks (almost permanently). :( I just found there to be absolutely nothing redeeming about 2-3 in the slightest.

Also I quite liked 2-4, but it wasn't nearly as good as 3-5 (nowhere near it), nor 1-4. I didn't really like 1-5 that much either. God, I'm not gonna fit in here at all! :phoenix:

Haha yeah, sorry. My post was a little bit like HEY ASSHOLES 2-3 SUCKED YOU AIN'T ALLOWED TO HAVE ANY OTHER OPINION.

I just really, honestly hated it. :( The only thing I liked (contradiction (hey wow, I made a PW pun subconsciously!) with my original post) was Ben's character 'cause he was kinda quirky. Regina annoyed the shit out of me (nice colour palette on the sprite, though), and don't even get me started on Moe. Jesus. The ending for it all came about too quick as well! Like what the hell. Acro is the bad dude even though you only found him in the last day? It was all just a little contrived, especially the WAY the ringmaster was killed. The backstory with Bat was fine, I'm happy with that. The murder method was completely, utterly over the top. I mean, sure, when you play Phoenix Wright you gotta expect to throw reality out the window a little bit, but this was just utterly ridiculous.

And the area was so small! I mean, I know you had the Circus Entrance, Outside Apartment, Moe's Room, Acro's Room, Cafeteria, Big Top, Ringmaster's Room, Detention Centre, Law Offices, and... I think that's it. It just felt really small scale. Trekking between each of the areas was a chore. T_T

Yeah. That's about all I got to say. I hated 2-3, and that will not change any time soon. Sorry. :(

I didn't really mind 2-3. I like that it had a really sympathetic killer, for one thing.

This case was amazing! The fact that
Spoiler:
Your client was guilty

made this case so damn epic.

Great case. Full of angst and internal dilemmas. Besides, I was just so sad {in a good way} when Phoenix went off on Edgeworth. ("I WISH YOU HAD JUST STAYED DEAD!!! *angry* I don't love you anymore!"

I actually wrote down all of my favorite quotes and conversations in a little notebook so I could read them whenever I want without having to play the entire case. :keiko:

Yeah, this was a great case. And it set up 3-5, as well. Moral trilemmas- angst, drama, depression, ecerything good is in this case.

I didn't think 2-3 was that bad. It was a good concept but some of the characters were really annoying (and not even interesting with it). I never understood what made Acro so special that you couldn't press him like a normal witness, although those birds flying onto his head were pretty hilarious. Regina was a good character, the way she didn't really react to her dad being murdered I thought was worth exploring, and I would've liked to have heard more about her backstory, perhaps she could've reluctant child star understandably ambivalent about her dad dying.

2-4 was amazing though. I thought it was gonna be another samurai yarn, but the set-up was really well done- Will Powers in a tux, Oldbag coming back etc. And being forced to attack Adrian, a deep, sympathetic character, was a really intriguing plot device. Edgeworth/Fran/Phoenix teaming up also rocks.

Heh, same here, along with the PW Wiki which spoiled for me that this was the case he loses, and on here I found out that Matt Engaurde was the guilty party, so yeah.

Extremely unique case though.

As with everyone, the over-forshadowing annoyed me a bit. However, I felt it to be one of the best cases in the series. The stalling in Court Day 2 was actually something I liked doing, and made the drama more intense for me. I liked it.

As for 2-3, I've started to like it a bit more. It's one of the funniest cases in the series, and it's not too bad, even if the way he was murdered was farfetched. Sure, a couple of things were annoying, but it's grown on me. It's alright.

I didn't really mind case 2-3. I laughed at some bits, and I actually liked Regina. Seeing Phoenix getting "attacked" by a tiger and monkey was just...epic. xDD

As for case 2-4...well, you can probably guess it was my ultimate favourite case EVAR.
