Shelly seems as if he's got this James Bond-esque style to him. I think it's charming... :bellboy:

And I don't see Shelly getting caught in the near future either. A two-way radio... I thought that was so awesome. Though Shelly didn't get that much coverage, I thought he was one of the most creative characters. I'd love to see Shelly return in GS5, though that prolly won't happen. :sob:

Spoiler: 2-4
I wonder on average how long it takes for him to hunt down and kill his clients once they break his trust.. but MATT IS TOO CUTE TO DIE!

Yeah Shelly is probably one of the best villains in the series. As for how long it takes for shelly to track down his clients when they go traitor, probably an hour tops, Matt probably will be safe for a while since he got arrested, but if he gets out then shelly will probably already be there with a sniper rifle.

Matt: I'm finally free!
Shelly: *fires sniper*
Matt *falls down dead*

De Killer is awesome. One of my favourites from the whole series. I just love the cool agent side of him. And that he his an assassin with loyalty is just win.

Well Shelly does deserve more appearences, he was never caught after all and I have a feeling he will show up in another case some time in Phoenix's future. Plus hes an awesome honorable assassin, how more can you get from that? =D

Shelly de Killer was the best character in 2-4 :shelly:. He should have turned up in 3-2 instead of :adrian-crunch:

His radio reminded me of C3PO from star wars somehow O_o

Have you ever noticed that the two way radio looks exactly like him?

I'm suprised that this thread has collected dust for a year now, especially with all the recent news.

De Killer is my favorite character period. Awesome theme song, he values trust in his client's above all else and will go the extra mile to get the job done.

Spoiler:
He kidnapped Maya to force Phoenix to gain an acquittal for his client. He injured 3 officers in an attempt to retrive a video tape. And his contract with Matt now broken, I wonder if and how Shelly will enact his vengeance.

I'm anxious to see what the future brings.

You can tell the GS production team had a special place in their heart for the character. Despite committing abominable acts upon Maya, he is STILL treated not as a villain but as a completely neutral character. Wow.

Shelly was only doing his job. His morals take the backseat when he's on a mission, he does exactly as he is instructed to do. The only things he asks his client is to trust him to get the job done and not expose his face. The only things he's done to Maya are kidnapping and starvation. But he did that out of necessity to protect his client from getting indicted for a murder which he commited.

De Killer is a professional at all times, and despises traitors. He will always be my favorite character.

Spoiler:
I hope his appearance in AAI2 isn't just fanservice, and they better have a damn good reason why he's wearing pink haha.

I don't think Shelly needs a successor. He's not 95 years old or a vegetable.

Yatagarasu is this 'truth burglar' (Pretty silly if you ask me). Don't compare an assassin with these chumps.

One of the reasons I want GK2 to be localised is SHELLY'S REAPPEARANCE!

I honestly couldn't stop bouncing when I saw him in the trailer with that icecream cone. XD

Also.

Gregory Edgeworth.

You should use spoiler tags when posting spoilers about GK2, you know. Some people haven't played the game.

Ah, De Killer... I have good memories of him, considering how calm it sounds when he's talking, even though that just adds to the creepiness. I hope he gets Matt soon. By the way, who ever said he was old? Remember the scar running down his face? That might not be his real face, and he could be much younger than he looks.

You are implying that scar... is some sort of zipper? It sort of looks like one, and it would make sense for him to want to hide his face. Good theory you got there.

How exactly is it a spoiler?
It's in the trailer.
Trailers do not equal spoilers.

Who said he was old? Me? :payne: I didn't mean to if I did!!

I always imagined him to be in his thirties or forties.

And why should trailers not be considered spoilers like any other?

Um, because trailers are meant to be viewed BEFORE the games are played?
They contain no spoilers.

Look, I'm sorry if I've offended anyone.

I'll be more careful from now on.

So would you please stop crawling down my throat? :sadshoe:

"Spoilers" implies any aspect of it that isn't instantly known by being aware of its existence. Yes, trailers are meant to be seen before the finished work, but they still are spoilers, since the game won't force you to watch them before playing.

I don't know about others, but I wasn't offended with anything. I'm just trying to discuss a disagreement. That doesn't mean I don't accept your opinion.

Alright then, I shall be more careful from now on. :pearl:

Someone should totally write a fanfiction about Shelly and Shoe.

It would be very sweet... :)

:shellydekiller: is a pretty likeable anti-villain, IMO.

I find it oddly unsettling when you first meet de Killer in person (as a bellboy) and his "voice" consists of the female blips. Great character though.
