Did anyone else get the feeling that 3-3 wrapped up without a lot being resolved?

I mean, what hahppened to Bruto? (I haven't played AJ, if he turns up then, please don't spoil it) And Violetta just seems to dissapear, without a mention. Wasn't Phoenix supposed to be killed for going against their family? :uramidn:

Did anyone else get this feeling?

Yeah,I thought about that too.I mean,If Tigre ends up in jail.Where did Viola go? She dissapeared quick and never again appeared?!
Hmm,Bruto is the most powerful mob boss.I bet he's still in his Huuuuge Cadaverini Mansion, but we seriously don't know what happened to him.
And Phoenix isn't the responsible for anyone or anything. He didn't hurt Viola, there for, what will Bruto do if he realized that Tigre's in jail and betrayed his daughter?
*sigh* If only the information will appear in GK :l

I feel the same way. But 3-3 was a sort of filler case, apart from introducing Maggey. So I don't think those characters were that important.

Maybe not a crucial part of the story, but 3-3 is my 3rd favorite case :)

And what Dick-Gumshoe said.

Not really... in their own way, aside from 1-2, 1-4, 2-2, 2-4, 3-1, 3-4, and 3-5 none of the cases are connected- they are their own standalone story. Anything with Kurain Village and Dahlia is connected with the "main" plot, so that's why the cases above are connected.
Well, that's just my opinion, though. :sadshoe:

There is already a thread on this "filler" matter, let's not bring it here.

I loved 3-3 but I will say a lot of it ended unresolved

like

-The Cadaveranis. Bruto never showed up. Viola's story wasn't completely resolved.
-The MC Bomber virus. Its infecting the city, but hey Maggey's innocent so who cares, right? WRONG

I thought it ended up pretty nicely.

The bad-guy got locked up, and the innocent person was let free. Really, what more do you want?

Phoenix never challenged the Cadaverinis, so they'd have no reason to go after him. You think Bruto would care that some no-name loan shark was put into prison (maybe even the death penalty) by a no-name lawyer? Even with Viola, who WANTED TIGRE DEAD, I doubt he'd really put much pressure on Phoenix.

You people, what with you're wanting-all-loose-ends-tied-up'ness.

Not to mention you think that after the virus, if the FBI found out it was from Bluescreens, they would have shut the place down in a heart beat (even though the person who made it is dead now)

Ohwell, maybe Lisa could work at Aperture Science

Hmmm... well, it was unresolved, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. It allows the Cadaverini's and Viola :uramidn: in particular to show up in GS5 or something. But the MC Bomber bit was disappointing. I would've at least expected something about it to show up at the end. Oh well.

Didn't Glen make the virus in his spare time or something?

Anyway, I didn't feel that 3-3 ended prematurely, since Phoenix only wanted to catch Glen's poisoner (Furio Tigre), and not bring down the Cadaverini's crime sydicate.

I don't think there was much with the virus that needed resolving. It's not as though Phoenix could do anything about it other than wait for the police to bring in a technician to remove it.

This is basically what I believe.

Phoenix only ever fights for his clients, and on occasion, a vague notion of the "truth"

A vague notion of the truth? Well, in 2-4 in 3-5, we know Phoenix fights for the truth, but in all the other cases, I thought Phoenix was foghting for the truth. To some extent, at any rate.

He does fight for the truth; he fought to prove that Magey wasn't the killer, that he didn't screw up at the trial, and that there was indeed a second person at the table in the restaurant.

Objection!
Howabout Turnabout Samurai? Will Powers and the Steel Samurai are recurring characters!

Also, Jean Armstrong makes a cameo in the first game. (or was it second?)

Remember when Gumshoe gives in a report to Edgeworth? He writes it on the back of a flyer...WITH A PICTURE OF JEAN ARMTSTRONG on it.

More evidence. When Edgeworth gets the report he says "It looks like Gumshoe is trying to console me into going to this new French restaurant." (Or something liek that)

May I also point out 3-3 was basically the sequel to 2-1? They have the same defendant after all.

Just to clarify: Blue Screen had nothing to do with MC Bomber, and it wasn't shut down, because it was shown in the ending of T&T.

But someone that worked under Blue Screens made MC Bomber (which is a reference to the band/song "MC Hammer", hence why Maya thought it was "MC Screwdriver" since a hammer and a screwdriver are both tools)

Phoenix wasn't going up against the Cadaverini family. Tigre isn't a member of that, he's just someone who owes Bruto money.
