Ok here's a contradiction in 3-5 that I'm sure has some explanation.

Spoiler:
During Maya's cross examination it is revealed that after Godot stabbed Dahlia/Misty thorugh the chest she felt being splashed with something warm, which was presumed to be bloodspatter. However, when she(channeling Dahlia) appears in court the next day, she's as clean as a whistle. My question is this, where did the bloodspattered clothes go?

Maybe the clothes were washed with snow, or the bloodsplatter somehow only hit skin...?

That's a damn good question. The first thought I had was that she washed the blood off in the river, but that's impossible.
Wasn't there a draw with extra clothes in it?(i haven't played the game for awhile) She could've changed her clothes and then burned the bloodied set in the incinerator.
Just my theory.
My sig is better than yours.

True, but they probably only had nun outfits in that drawer, plus ever since the murder happened she was channeling Dahlia, who did not know that she was in Maya's body, who would not know to change into any spare acylote outfits Maya had put into that drawer (there's even a possibility that she didn't even notice the drawer).

Maya was in Iris's outfit, found in the drawer. She did not go to the inner temple in that outfit, but dahlia was wearing it so she must have changed into in. Godot probably left a change of clothes with unconsious Maya. Nobody searched the cave, after all, so she could have changed there. She never mentioned it, but it's entirely possible, especially if it was Dahlia who changed, knowing she'd look like Iris, and not wanting to be covered in blood for when she was found.

Uh... yeah she did. She had to wear the special acolyte clothes to do the spiritual training.

Although a change of clothes does seem like a likely idea (if indeed there was a change of clothes in that drawer)

Why does she need to change before going to the temple? There were drawers there, probably for that reason. Maya siply hadn't changed yet, as she was waiting for Iris to come instruct her. Instead, of course, Dahlia/Misty came.

This brings up a new problem.

After Dahlia is exorcised from Maya, she is shown in Iris's outfit, but then later she is in her old outfit. :meekins:

They probably gave her some time to change into her normal clothing or something. I dunno.

I didn't notice that when I played the game. I wasn't paying attention.

And it's parodied in this comic. (Warning: 1-4, 4-4 spoilers, continued from my other comics, link in my sig.)
I've noticed that from the first time I saw it, it jut wasn't relevant to this discussion. Was anyone with Maya in the hospital? Bikini perhaps? She'd have spare channeling outfits of every variety.

I'm not really sure what the contradiction is.O_o When Maya was found, she was dressed like Iris. Either she changed herself or Dahlia did it. Regardless of what she was wearing when the blood splashed onto her, even if it got on her clothes, there were lots of replacement outfits for her to change into.

Apparently somebody, since she did change!

Maybe they were able to get Maya's clothes from Hazakura Temple or something. Depending on how long Maya was resting after Dahlia was exorcised, it could've been done.

My best idea was that she got it to her hands.
Easy to feel, easy to disappear.
Snow everywhere, so I guess the snow "washed" her hands clean.

But, wasn't there a recess after that? I don't quite remember. o_o

Anyway, my theory is that Dahlia changed her clothes after Maya channeled her. I think that she even mentions in the trial that after she was channeled, she changed her haircut as well, to look more like herself instead of having Maya's haircut, so I suppose that she changed clothes, too.

Or the developers didn't want to have to create a whole new set of sprites.

As the first contradiction been explained for adequately..I would guess Nick got Mia-Pearls to bring a change of clothes or something..kinda unlikely tho'..considering..

Well, then I say that all of this "dissapearing blood" thing is proof of Capcom's lazyness. =P

I think the most likely scenario is that Dahlia changed into the nun clothing when she came out of hiding to pose as Iris. I mean, blatant bloodsplatter aside, no one would believe she was Iris if she came out dressed in acolyte clothing (which she would assume were Pearl's).
As for Maya being back in her own outfit, Phoenix or Mia!Pearls would probably have a chance to drive back to wherever she was staying and get her another set of her acolyte clothes. Her magatama was probably found in the Sacred Cavern and brought back with Iris.

I assumed that as part of Godot's plan to help cover up the scene (to help Maya) was he changed her clothes. Remember she wakes up after falling unconscious after the stabbing (she doesn't channel Dahlia immediately as she channels Mia for help first).

When Dahlia is channeled, she changes into the Temple clothes as she assumes Pearl has channeled her, to pose as Iris and does the old switcheroo with Iris.

If this doesn't satisfy people then I'll go with this explanation:

I say that after Maya channeled Dahlia, Dahlia changed her clothes so that no suspicion would arise when she appeared as Iris.
