For a start I like how it's actually confirmed they were in love (unlike MOST other pairings). This means people can write accurate fanfiction about them without anyone disliking the pairing. It is always possible for people to creat ulternative ones but not as realistically (such as Phoenix/Mia which i actually kind of like).
I also love how romantic it is. My heart melts when Godot starts talking about how he loved her. It's so incredible tragic how they only got to be together for under a year before everything started going wrong.
