barely acknowledges Godot. AT ALL. and :javado:

just seemed to think of her as like, you know a little fling.

Sad to say, I've left C-R. I may still occasionally come on, but, y'know...
I just lost interest, but, this is still an awesome site.

Phoenix mentions something about "The man who loved you so deeply" or something like that to Mia. Also, Grossberg seemed kind of uncomfortable when he said "It describes in detail... how you came to lose your boyfriend".

I think they started to have something, and Godot shows his love for Mia by providing so much for the Feys. He's also protective of Maya. Godot isn't an open book character. HE holds alot of deap down angst. I think he holds alot back

But really though. He loves her.He friggin gives Phoenix SHIT for 'letting her die'. He STALKS Phoenix right through PW3 so that he can get his revenge on him.

That to me ALONE tells me that Godot was deaply in love with her. He's just not whiney about it :)

I still wish that Maya would turn into Mia for him so he can give her his last good bye... I guess that's his tragedy though :( Romeo and Juliet almost... The love that was never meant to be *clings*

Quoted for truth. xD On Mia's part, the case with Phoenix was the first one she took in a year. Mia was obviously traumatized pretty bad with the Fawles case--I think she makes a remark about it hurting her so badly that she swore never to enter a courtroom again. Mia more or less tells Grossberg halfway through the Phoenix trial that the main reason she took it was so that she could get Dahlia behind bars for poisoning Diego. That shows a little bit of how she loved him, I think. Or just plain hated Dahlia. Could go either way.

I got a different vibe off of Pearlmia ignoring Diego during the trial. The way she referred to him as "Mr. Prosecutor"--I thought that she was upset with Diego for becoming a Prosecutor hell-bent on making Phoenix Wright suffer, and was giving him the silent treatment as a way of saying "You're not the man I knew...". And even then, when you're about to have Maya testify to find out the true identity of the killer, she asks Godot "Is it really alright, Mr. Prosecutor?". Sort of like she already knew he did it, and knew if they examined Maya everybody would find out, and wanted to make sure that he was okay with that. To which he answered "Of course it's alright, Madame Attorney."

And, at the end of the game, Mia thanks Phoenix for saving Diego. So yeah. I'm pretty sure they loved each other--they probably weren't going out during the Fawles case, from the way Mia treated him, but Grossberg refers to him later as her boyfriend, so...

I agree- If I were Mia, I'd be disappointed in Godot's attitude (despite his awesome grin XD ). Besides, I think she held back cause well, she's an honest lawyer and she's DEAD. She can't have a relationship with him now. I just wish they got a last good bye :(

That, too. She could be doing it to be kind to him, in a way--I mean, how is he supposed to heal and live again and deal with the fact that she's dead if she keeps popping in all the time and chatting it up with him? Bad. I wish they had included a goodbye in there, too, though. Oh well. To the fanfics!

I think they both really loved each other. At the end of T&T I was kinda upset about how Mia was treating Godot. There wasn't any acknowledgment at all between the two of them except for the "Mr. Prosecutor" and "Madame Attorney" lines. I think though that Mia at that point was really miffed at Godot. He had after all killed her mother and she definitely knows it was him. I wonder if he was present when Mia and Maya met at the medical clinic. I think Mia isn't happy with what has become of Godot, although I think she does in a way understand his motivation, though she doesn't agree with him. I guess that's what she meant about how Phoenix saved him -- saving him from himself, or from what he has become. I think Godot really wanted to be found out though, he was obviously encouraging phoenix, but he wants Phoenix to prove himself this time.

Also, it'd TOTALLY ruin the shock value of the whole thing for Phoenix if she was totally unprofessional and hitting on the prosecutor the whole time ;)

Someone needs to do an 'extended' scene for T&T where they confront each other as a happy ending. Things may not be so crash hot for Godot's future, but at least they can tie up the lose ends Godot has and make him happy again :(

Yeah, I wish they would make an extended scene. I'd like to see them sort things out, even just a proper goodbye would be nice. Although since he did kill their mom, Pearly-channeled Mia would probably slap Godot so hard that she breaks his visor and makes him bleed again..... But I just want some closure LOL

Just adding to already said statements, in one of the monthly snapshots is an image of Godot and Spirit!Mia at a festival and according to the director (? artist?) comment it was something to the effect where lovers could be with the departed.

And I saw her referring to him as "Mr. Prosecutor" as kind of affectionate, just like him referring to her as "Madame Attorney". I don't think she was unhappy, really, at what he'd become, but, rather, concerned.

i prefer to think that they did love each other - after all, the game hints at it, and godot is pretty upset about her being dead and all, and mia was determined to bring down dahlia for poisoning him.
plus its so much more adorable ... (and tragic)... to think that they were each others 'special someone' .... and then they were seperated... forever.... *cries*....
anyway, thats my view on this whole miego love/not love thing =)

I think so too. That's why I like the coupling so much. The tragedity. I just wish they wrapped it up a little better between the two of them. They kinda forget poor Godot after Phoenix drinks his coffee and it all focuses on the mains again :( I don't like how the game doesn't seem to pay alot of attention to secondaries... >.> He was such a white knight at the end of the day... sullied and all :(
