Pardon me if this had been bought up before.

I'm playing case 5 now and Godot present the case's real murder weapon, a bloody dagger. Next he show the stone lantern with some bloody handwriting on it.

The following dialogue shows that he's very surprise that there're letters written in blood and claim the lantern is "as clear as a whistle". Phoenix remembers that Godot can't see properly, as if he can't see anything red...

My question is if Godot can't see the bloody hand writing on the stone lantern, how does he know that the knife is cover in blood? I mean he could have guess from the wetness or liquid texture on the blade, but what about the stone lantern?

Another question is does Godot purposely misread Wright as Trite or is it that he didn't know Wright name?

Out of topic but Phoenix say, "Now he's really shaking and I don't think it's because of caffeine overload" XD

Well, Godot can't see red on a white background, so that's why he couldn't see it on the lanturn. The daggar is silver(?) So it would have been easier to see.
And yes, it was on purpose because of his hatred of "Trite." :godot:

... I think I might've missed that quote.. *replays*

I don't know that silver is different enough from white to make much of a difference, but he'd likely have no way of knowing about the blood on the lantern because even if it didn't dry, why would he touch it in that exact spot?

Spoiler: End of 3-5
He knew the dagger was bloody because he was stabbed with it! Godot accidentally gave away information that he shouldn't have known.

Or, as he clearly says, some detectives brought it to him, and told him about it, so.....

I thought of that too, but why didn't anyone told him about the stone lantern? Could it be that it is so obvious till no one told Godot about the bloody handwriting?

In that case... *lifebar explodes and decreases* Argh, looks like I'm on the wrong track >_<

It seems not many people know about his eyesight, so it's likely that the investigators figured that he could see the blood.

One more thought: Maybe he found the dagger, and gave it to a detective outside the Garden, and then the detective told him about the blood. That way, they wouldn't have seen the lantern!
