Combined with Diego/Godot comes Mia. She's part of his backstory, so ...
Other very likeable characters are
(for herself as a whole), 
(although he's crazy and messed up, he is an interesting and well designed character) and 
(she has my sympathy).

GS3 was my first AA game and she's just too awesome. Main prosecutor in JFA, right? Coffee! Everybody likes Godot. Ron's a really interesting character. Case 2 is my favourite. Reminds me of Desireé. Robot filler character ftw. Sweetest character ever. Has Dahlia beat.I left out a few, but those are my main favourites.

Nor even Phoenix~Gumshoe isn't one of my favourites, but he's a great character. Considering how much he's around it'd be tough not to like him.

I also kind of wanted to slap him in 3-3, but then again, Maggey was a little bit too grouchy to be 100% in the right.
Good example of how a good character can get rusty... but I still like Gumshoe
