I saw the logo on deviantArt. The ORIGINAL logo. The one where it showed Apollo and Phoenix around a bunch of freaks, who are, in fact, the exact same characters as on the site! How were you able to obtain this?

They're based on the characters from Professor Layton.

Totally on the record, Croik and I were planning on doing something for a Halloween banner, possibly Layton themed. I was originally planning on doing a Photoshop job, kinda like what we did with the old Duddley Do Right/Apollo Justice Banner a while back, then Croik mentioned seeing some Layton/Justice art on the forums somewhere.

I got excited, did some Sherlocking, and was able to track down Lessers as the original artist, and asked if she would be willing to donate the PSD so I could build it into a banner. (I'm good with photoshop, but getting 'good' Alpha from a pre-rendered image is more of a headache then it's worth. Hence asking for both her permission and the PSD.) Not only did she donate the art and it's PSD, but a new Logo AND Cookie Monster; She's just full of that much AWESOME.

Her only request in return was credit and a link back to her portfolios. Which we totally gave in the announcement topic. Lessers admitted being really happy with the results, especially the randomly loading characters in the right side.
