CREEPY STRETCHAGE. I'm not sure why it does that, but it happens sometimes. Since I'm on an updating spree I'll GET THEM~~

How come Gumshoe's regular animation sprite and heavy breathing animation are all in one?

It's on her sheet, but as it's not a gif animation, it's not on the animations page.

Which section talks about music in general, if there is one?

There are threads about music here and there in the three defense lobby boards (though I haven't seen a GS4 one in a good long while). Additionally, the Remix board, which is a sub-board of "Present Evidence", is a small forum where people post and discuss fan-made AA related music and sound files. That's not the place for discussing the in-series music, however; topics in the Defense/Prosecutor Lobbies are fine for that.

I don't know if this has been posted yet, since I haven't been tracking this topic, but the sprite for Terry Fawles during the courtroom zoom out is missing.

Spoiler: Spoiler for case 3 - 4
The sprite if you get a guilty verdict, not the sprite where he collapses.

I've tried on several different computers, and the official art for Dahlia, Young Mia, and Young Payne comes up with an error whenever I click on them.

Author:  Manfred von Karma [ Sat Sep 15, 2007 3:47 am ]
Post subject:  Re: Official Court Records Thread

I just went through all of the sprites (the updated ones that is), and found a few errors.

Incorrect Spellings/Odd Titles:
gumshoe-man(b)
larry-thumps%20up(a)
larry-thumps%20up(b)
maggey-cosplay%20mad(a)
gant-smirkingt(a)

Sprite Problems:
atmey-sweating(b) - Jaw is messed up
ani-koroshiya-radio-end - I believe this just wasn't replaced.

General:
Cody Hackins: No .zip file.
Shelly de Killer: Doesn't say "(Updated)" underneath the links.
All Trials and Tribulations Characters: The window title still uses their GS3 names (links contain English names, though).

Not Sure if These are Problems or Just Me:
ben-normal(a) - Doesn't save whole animation.
meekins-salutes1 and meekins-salutes2 - No difference between them (I'm more looking for clarification on this one).

Author:  Croik [ Sat Sep 15, 2007 4:39 am ]
Post subject:  Re: Official Court Records Thread

The ending sprite of Killer's radio just wasn't in the pack I got, so that's why it wasn't updated. I'll have to reposition it manually.

The two Meekins salute animations were both included, I'm not sure if they were meant to be different in any way. I assumed there was something very slight I just wasn't seeing. ^^;;

I'll see to fixing the rest~

As for the official art, I know there's something odd about them. I think the files themselves are corrupted or something. I'll try to fix that, too.

You are missing a screenshot in GS1-case 4 where
Spoiler: GS1-4
Yanni Yogi confronts Robert Hammond in the boat shop (this screenshot appears I think when phoenix talks about what happened at gourd lake when the murder happened).

Noticed a couple more things:

1. You say in the September 13th update that Hotti and Ini were updated, they weren't.
2. The daily sprite, ani-edgeworth-soom contains some left-over Japanese text. I check Edgeworth's animation page, and the zoom animation there has it as well (it's hard to see on the white background, but it's there).

Post subject:  Re: Official Court Records Thread

Hey, Croik, you might wanna fix some of the animations to repeat forever instead of just once. For example, Matt's animation of him opening up his phone is just him looking at the phone.

Post subject:  Re: Official Court Records Thread

There is a plot typo in 3-3 case summary, it says the evidence Gumshoe brings in near the end of the trial has the defendant's fingerprints on it, but the game makes it pretty clear its the killer's fingerprints <_<

Godot's zoom sprite is alligned oddly. It's dead center, but I assume it's supposed to be pushed to the right. Also, by not including "(a)" animations for Godot's forward sprites, you missed the frame of the "confidant" animation where he's smiling smugly.

I noticed a couple animations have extraneous frames, but I'll recheck everything before I post a list.

Mia and Young Edgeworth do not have .zip files, but .rar files.

I'm not sure if this is just me, but about 6 of Mia's animations wouldn't save as animations at all (even though they showed up animated). I'll try from another computer.

Also, which animation is missing for Phoenix? I didn't seem to find one that was absent.

Author:  Croik [ Thu Sep 20, 2007 1:58 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: Official Court Records Thread

The animations that don't loop forever anymore are on purpose. They're not supposed to.

Not every single frame made it into an animation because it seemed silly to include single, unmoving frames in that section. Everything should be on the sheets, though (or will be, since some of them are not yet updated). But I did notice Godot's zoom. That's how it is in the rips, so I was trying to find a screencap of it to figure out if I was missing the right half of the sprite or if the rip was just misaligned

Spoiler:
The one sprite I was missing from Phoenix was the second version of his Super Objection with Mia. That should be up now.

I noticed a couple of 1-3 sprites still missing.
Specifically, Payne (young and old) in his normal pose, not talking.
Also, Adrian smiling, but not talking.

Those are missing because they're not animations. They're just single frames (no blinking, no mouth movement, nothing) and those frames are in the talking animations anyway.

At least I assume so. :s

rtsmarty is right - several "animations" aren't up because they're just single frames (especially some of Godot's, since he doesn't "blink").

May I ask what's wrong with Godot and Edgeworth's zoom sprites?

I'm going to assume that Dahlia's delay is because of the shawl (and some spoiler animations that are a bit of a pain).

Author:  Croik [ Sun Sep 23, 2007 3:55 am ]
Post subject:  Re: Official Court Records Thread

Dahlia's shall has been edited on. It ends up looking a little dark thanks to the absense of the transparency effect, but I think it's okay. What's missing are her last few spoiler sprites.

On the DS sheet I have of edgeworth, there's a small white triangle on the lower right side of him that shouldn't be there. I didn't notice it until now :B.

Godot's zoom is missing the far right side of him. In the game, sometimes his sprite is shoved further to the right so you can see whatever picture's in the background, but the full version extends further than what I have.

Edgeworth Zoom: Image (only one frame because I'm not sure of timing so I'll leave that to you)

Godot Zoom: Image

Spoiler: 3-5
Dahlia spoilers?:

Image Not sure what to do with this one.

Image Or this one actually since there's a transition effect between the three frames so I think each frame is actually a seperate animation.

Image This one's a bit dodgy too because I think the flame is supposed to be a seperate object. I'm just too lazy to remove Dahlia's sprite from the animation :keiko:

Hope these are ok~

Author:  Croik [ Sun Sep 23, 2007 2:27 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: Official Court Records Thread

Oooh, those zooms were just what I needed. Thanks!

Spoiler:
I should be able to fudge the transition effect in Dahlia's hair to match the game's. As for the flame, I do have that as a separate file among the rips, but there's a glitch on two of the frames. I'll try to piece it together with the file you posted.

By the way, here's something scary!

Theres a typo in one of Payne's "hairless" sprites as "hairess" and Godot is missing his shaking head/sniffing coffee animation.

Manfred von Karma's sprite sheet still has GBA-sized sprites for his forward animations.

Guys, the time has come for us to address an issue long debated in my twisted little mind: Seeing as how this could be just a COURT RECORDS thing, it could mean any law game, right? I propose we:
A. Start a Harvey Birdman branch of the forum or
B. Start a seperat Birdman Birdforums.

Author:  ParrotMan01 [ Thu Sep 27, 2007 1:06 am ]
Post subject:  Re: Official Court Records Thread

I second the notion and propose that only fans of the game(or series if possible) make it.

I don't see why one game similar to the GS/AA would deserve its own subsection. Just keep it to the Police Station, where it belongs.

But it isn't from the same series, and as such doesn't deserve to be singled out like that.
