A cameraman, interviewer (dressed as the Blue Badger), as well as Edgeworth and Gumshoe are there.

When Edgeworth asks what the fuss is about, Gumshoe opens the laptop on his desk. The Judge is there. According to the Judge's opening statements, reports of a new game in the Gyakuten series has again been stolen from a gaming company in Osaka.

Edgeworth is sunk.

Edgeworth admits that he is interested in being the main character. But he tries to explain that, main character aside, they don't know the contents of the game.

The court calls a recess. It goes into the interview with Eshiro, Yamazaki, and Iwamoto (the producer, director, and designer). This one?

It picks up after the interview.

Edgeworth relents. The Judge and Oldbag tricked him into admitting that he wanted to be the main character. The one letter difference between "kenji" and "keiji" changed everything. However, Gumshoe is disappointed. Apparently he didn't know the plan.

Oldbag says that now that the main character has been decided, it's time to pick a partner. Oldbag offers herself, and as Gumshoe starts to protest, an objection comes in the form of a sudden appearance by Franziska von Karma!

The Blue Badger is the last one left, and he starts to leave as well, but then turns. Taking off his head, the person inside… looks to the audience and goes "Shhh." It's Phoenix.
