I don't find them wierd personally... I quite like them in fact. Especially her 'grinning face', that's one of my favourite... She just looks to be the kind of girl Edgey really can't bear, I'm sure we'll get a lot of funny dialogues between the two !
By the way, I've just thought of something...

You mean that she was first introduced as the mysterious (and silent, probably) thief? But now she seems to be a very peppy and cheeky girl.
Yeah, it was a big let-down for me. I was hoping for a different assistant in this game. So when they announced her, I was very happy. But now it seems to be another one of those happy, over-the-top girls. I just hope she will turn out better than I think of her now.
I just can't find the right words to describe this girl's behavior, so my descriptions of her might sound a bit off.

Well, mysterious doesn't need to be dull. In fact, I think that mysterious is very interesting and far from dull. But as always, it's just an opinion.
I agree, now it seems that Shiina is now the mysterious and silent assistant, but in a different way, though. Less fun and interesting.
