There's some characters that didn't appear in the last one, mostly from case 1-5 (the Skyes, Marshall, Gant), and there's a lot more Franziska and Gumshoe in it, too. I didn't read all of it yet, but it's good so far. I was disappointed by the lack of Franziska (my favorite) in the last one, but since this one centers around Edgey's misadventures, there's a lot more of the prosecutors in it.
Now I'm a LOT more stoked for Gyakuten Kenji...

There is something for every Edgeworth fan in this little volume. You'll be pleased whether you ship him with Phoenix, enjoy Gumshoe friendship stories, love his relationship with Franziska, think Maya/Edgeworth is canon (ha ha, don't shoot me), and everything in between.
I would be surprised if this volume doesn't generate many kink meme requests.

Yeah, those are the two things about the volume that totally made it for me. I don't ship Maya/Edgeworth, but a lot of their interactions were so adorable in this book (sleep-channeling, anyone?) And I've always loved Fran and Miles:

There were times where I thought the comics didn't make sense. Not that the overall plot didn't, but that there was some dialog that I couldn't figure out. I dunno if that's a translation thing, or I'm just not into anime fandom enough to get all the references. But I still enjoyed it.

I went to Barnes and Noble to get it (because their online catalogue said it was in-stock), and it WASN'T THERE. *cry* But I came out of the store with something almost as good (Maximum Ride manga-fied is win), so I'm fine...sorta.

Never read the manga, but Maximum Ride itself is win. It's the only James Patterson series I really stuck with because the newer books that he writes with other authors are HUGE diarrhea poo-poo (and most likely, the author he's writing it with IS the author himself.) Although I did find Judge & Jury to be rather decent.
Back to Edgeworth!
I hope this thread isn't tempting you ;_; I hope you get it soon! As for Barnes and Noble not having it in stock, that's just Barnes and Noble for you. Borders is the exact same way, and I'm assuming Waldenbooks is too, since they and Borders are in cahoots.

Oh god, that was gold, especially Godot's reaction to Edgey's nudeness - "you've grown up, little kitten." O___o And he still retains his Edgeworthian train of thought the whole time...
