i somethimes get this message while visiting court-records:
Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

many sprites and pictures and buttons are unable to load and give an broken image symbol.

how come?

To put it simply, we're aware of the issue.

Here's the issue as it is. With dreamhost, we're on a shared server. Which is the equivalent of being hosted in an apartment. We've got for all intents and purposes unlimited disk space and bandwidth, so things are all well and good.

The problem is we've got so many people asking for files at the same time that Dreamhost's server can't give our neighbors the level of service they need. To give an example, a single request for a 5 meg file puts less strain on the server then 80 requests for smaller files totaling 5 megs.

So Dreamhost did the best thing they could, given the circumstances, and throttled us.

To put it simply, it's like having a party in a small house and everyone is trying to get to the buffet. :P

The good news is that even if the site is overloaded entirely, the forum should still be okay (since they're on separate servers). The activity will probably go down once everyone has snagged all the sprites.

about the sprites: one of the zip files won't work. i get an error. an 404php error or something. and the sheet for apollo justice emma skye doesn't work.

i'm not complaining to much? if i am: my humble apologies. i just wandted to bring t up.
