Looks like Sven is saying that good sales of the Trilogy and AA5 here could see AAI2 finally getting localized. In other words, buy en masse.

Anyways, I think that this is confirmation that Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney is coming state side, and that it is coming before Ace Attorney 5. Trying to save a franchise isn't worth loosing your job over. And lying about sales expectations is something that could be grounds to be fired. So what could catalyst larger then traditional sales for the franchise? Hmmmm…

That's a great idea! People are always saying they think the games would sell better if Capcom actually advertised them over here. We could do the advertising for them, which might help with sales, which would make Sven look great at work!
And we could do it all in his name!

While trying to contribute to this cause, a computer-made postcard with a nice message of gratitude would be nice. If you're planning on basing it with AAI, you could try spriting him, modifying Edgeworth's office to simulate a possible Capcom office and stuff like that.

Mmmhmm, though we'd need a pretty great video idea for it to work. I still think AAI sprites should be used but hey it's all just brainstorming for now.

That is an excellent idea that no-one could fault.
or you as a collectors edition, have the two games bundled with a Special 3DS; like the zelda one had gold OoT artwork and the mario one had a red "cap"; the AA could be a powdered blue colour 3DS with the iconic AA logo silhouetted (just an add on to a brilliant idea)
Also, In response to the thanking of Sven:
How about a Video of all the AA characters from AA1 to AAI all thanking Sven for his hard work[/glow], but heres the catch. The video is styled like the credit sequence where its all friendly as if caught on video cam, ending with the main cast in one of the traditional end of game victory group photo's with a sprite of Sven interacting amongst/ with them? Aaaaand all the characters are individually voiced (kinda makes it more appreciative in a sense)
but its just an idea

So PLvsAA sales will drive up GS5 sales, and GS5 sales should be pretty strong anyway because due to so many types of fans are excited for it:
1) Hardcore fans: Bought every game and will buy this.
2) GS fans: Weren't interested in AAI, but will buy this.
3) Phoenix fans: Casual fans who played some/all of the games but weren't interested in/didn't know about AJ/AAI. Phoenix is back; They will buy this.
4) New fans/casual gamers: Cool looking game on a relatively new system. Same way I got into Apollo Justice: They'll hear about a cool law game and buy it.
Plus we have the AA123HD. So sales should be good. But I like the idea of a fan campaign. I'd just wonder how it would get any kind of audience.
I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.

That's alarming especially as some magazines make our existance public occasionally.
Also cuts off a good fair few of our resources. Why not hold a fanart session of drawing Sven in AA style then instead and just not use anything from the games.
Or howabout we go around whatever members are willing and record 'objections' from them and compile them into a thank you card.
Something like: "Objection! Sven is a fantastic human being and here's the evidence!"
