Possible DD release hint in Capcom 30th Encyclopedia?

While checking the Amazon UK page for the upcoming "Capcom 30th Anniversary Encyclopedia", you can view a Phoenix Wright page, looking all nice...

Looking at the "Most recent game" section, you can see "Dual Destinies - 2013". But when looking at Strider's sample page, it does not reference the upcoming Xbox One and PS4 game for release next year, it is quite possible that Dual Destinies will be release before or around the same time as this book, which would be around/before the 21st October 2013.

Then again, this could be my excitement/imagination running wild, but oh well. :)

This could mean something. The real question is whether this really is indicating the game will be released near/before the book, or if it just includes games announced during the writing of the encyclopedia. It could just be that none of the E3-announced games are in there on the temp pages yet.

Someone should cross-reference the other entries to see if they can figure out what's being included and why.

I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.

Unfortunately there are only 5 sample pages, Strider Hiryu, Sir Arthur, Dante (which doesn't refer to the DMC: Devil May Cry reboot version, strangely, and says his most recent game is UMVC3), Mega Man (Classic, but states the most recent game was Project X Zone, even though that was X, not classic) and our good buddy Phoenix Wright.

If it is the latter, then the Strider reboot game would be referenced on Strider Hiryu's page, however it also says the most recent appearance is UMVC3. This is what leads me to believe Dual Destines will be released before the book, as it says Phoenix's most recent game appearance is in DD!

Well that would make sense. October seems the most likely release window, since if it was September they would have said something already and if it was November/December then the marketing would probably use "winter"/"Holiday" 2013 even thought that's still technically autumn.

However, since it is a digital release, they could easily say "It's on the eShop tomorrow!" I know they wont, but let's wait for PAX, and hope to hear something there. It's still feasible to think that it could be released in September, though.

Hm, now that I really look at him, he did gain a bit more weight by DD. It's possibly thanks to all that idling around he did while unemployed. It would be suitable for official artwork to showcase Athena (and everyone else there) taking him on an exercise routine.

Well maybe theres a separate page for the DMC dante because it is a reboot. The last time we saw the white haired dante was UMVC3. And it seems likely that it will be before the book based on the fact that its in the book

Quite true, but you would think that since they are from the same series/character, they would at least reference it in the description. And Anyway, the last Dante appearance was in Project X Zone, not UMVC3 as it says! Weird.

Keep in mind these could just be temp pages. But looking at the fact that they announced a price recently, I have little doubt that it will be released around the same time as this book.
