Could I get my username changed back from Mijumaru to "SuperAj3" (I kinda feel like going back to it.) Of that's not possible due to the fake account, could it be "SuperAJ3" (if usernames are case sensitive?) EDIT: Thank you!

For public record's sake, though it's pretty obvious: DoMaya asked me off-site to change his name to DoMaya Blackquill. I was in a bit of a rush, so I forgot to ask him to post in this thread as well. |

I'll get back to you on that one. I don't recall there being any rule explicitly stating that user may not have the F-word in their usernames, but the restrictions on language may qualify as forbidding such a username. If the staff agrees that your intended new username is okay, it will be changed on September 7. Edit: It's almost certainly not going to happen. There are staff members I haven't heard back from, but everyone I have heard from has said "no." |

We don't punish people for the occasional curse, but we reserve the right to punish people for excessive use of foul language. Having a username with the F-word in it would be the same as you including said word in every one of your posts. Personally, I think having the F-word in your username qualifies as excessive use of foul language on those grounds. As for the rest of the staff, you'll have to ask them directly if you want to know what their reasoning is, as they did not share it with me. |

Just don't use a capital "σ" as a substitute for a capital "e," okay? I can't and won't punish anyone for that, but using the incorrect letter is a bit of a pet peeve of mine. I mostly see it done with Cyrillic letters (Я ≠ R), but Greek's not immune, either. |

Uh, what are the rules for requesting a name change to a taken name? Kay Faraday was already taken when I signed up, and I found out that the user that took it signed up 2009 and only posted once.
