:gant: Hello!
My only purpose here in this topic is to draw into the attention of those around and active onto a slightly... problematic issue on the Court Records forum.

I have been doing research around areas of the forum, like the Wright & Co. Law Offices, Police Station, and Berry Big Circus threads, and have come too the conclusion that recently, there have been users actively attempting to instigate arguments and off-topic debates, and frankly that won't do.

I will not list any names (that's against forum regulations, after all), but all it takes is to look into some of the locked topics in the threads above, and sooner or later, you will see the same few members popping up, having caused trouble and blatantly trying to lock the topic through crude means (vulgarity, hostility, etc.).

Not everyone is aware of this, and many who are just shrug it off as drivel, but ignoring these rash fellows is the only way to go.
It isn't just a mention to them and on with the show, or one or two people still talking, EVERYBODY MUST PARTICIPATE in the trouble-rouser's excommunication! Let them self-destruct! It doesn't matter.

:damon: I'll make it very clear, right here, all it takes is to ignore anybody attempting to cause trouble, problem solved.
If you are playing a forum game, pretend they didn't even post, and continue with the person above them! In a conversation, they never existed!

If you have any comments, suggestions, or want to argue and become the perfect example of somebody to excommunicate, then please, post away!

:larry: I'm sorry... My behavior in some topics hasn't been the greatest. I know I'm partially to blame. I'll try to be more civil in my posts and not go off on random tangents, etc. I hope I don't become fuel to the fire anymore.

Absolutely. If a poster is obviously just trying to yank your chain, just keep in mind that everyone else can see through their ruse as well.

Whatever kind of smug comeback you come up with is never as sweet as watching a troll get frustrated at being greeted with silence. That means that this is a group effort. If everyone works together to bite the collective tongue with respect to these people, CR will become an even greater place to be.

I don't think I've ever seen you say anything rude, Gyakuten. It's not really about swearing, disagreements, or being random. If you haven't actively been trying to cause discord through hateful words, this topic isn't against you.

@Gyakuten Phoenix
Hold on, hold on! Now, random tangents are what makes this forum great. The reason I brought attention to this is because there are users who attempt to have arguments, use foul language, bring up sensitive topics or use allover improper posts.

Believe me, it isn't you, GP.

@~Mask☆DeMasque~
Truly, you understand my message.
I bow before you. :yanni-faint: (ACK, wrong way!)
(Seriously though, you got the right idea.)

I try to shrug off the hate...it usually works for hipcrits, but not for anything else, I don't get involved in arguements.
Don't mind me, just passing through.

I see what you guys are saying, but I have to disagree. I've been egging on a few individuals, thus causing more damage than there should be. Don't worry, though. I'll take care of my behavior.

Well, either way, not everybody is as fortified as you are when dealing with hostility.
The only point I am trying to bring up is to give active flamers no quarter, and pretend they never posted.

You know, it's threads just like this that I was talking about in the post I just made :\

By all means, don't try to cause drama - that goes for everyone. But posts like this encouraging people to gang up on *anyone* don't help. Problems with users are what the report function is for (and, you know, us mods :P).

Plus your sig is too big, please change~
