I've been thinking about this for awhile now, I've seen a lot of Talented people here on Court Records, people Good at music, at making games, Idea's people, Sprite Editor's, Fanart makers, Music Remixers, Video makers, and so on down the line.

Generally however, it's hard for one person to do it all, and some of the most amazing projects ever done by fans, have come when people work together on a project, because as humans, we all have different Skill sets and abilities, and working together we can so much more than flying solo.

So my idea is this, If enough people find the idea of interest, a Small board or at least if someone could tell me where to post a topic for it (If nothing else) For the talented people around here to come up with Projects to work together on.

For example, I'm very good with ideas, Scripts, picturing how things would fit together, but I lack the ability to make Videos due my computer being quite out dated, so an example would be something like this

In the Area, a project idea would be presented, such as an idea for a Phoenix Wright Sprite movie that needed Edited sprites, so for example, there is a song that I think would make a funny Music Video, if only I had Zombie Phoenix Wright sprites, so I'd post a topic, and in it, a summery of my idea, the song to be used if applicable, or possibly a whole script of how I think the video would look good, as well as the types of Talent I needed for help.

A sprite Editor interested in challenging themselves to make Zombie Phoenix Wright characters could post and ask the project head about what they needed, and then upon the project head's reply as to the complexity of the Job could accept or deny it, it might even be possible to have two or more sprite editors, depending on how complex the project was.

When the Sprites were done, and the Script was Written, the Materials would be sent onto the video maker, who would follow the script and turn the project into reality, The video could then be posted on a Youtube Account specifically for video's made by the collab, as well as Credits to what users did what in the author notes.

This is simply an example of how a Phoenix Wright AMV might run, but of course, there could also be a section for general Requests (Like the sig request area found on many sites) Song ideas, sprite comic ideas and other projects that people have idea's for, but not really the ability or time to make themselves.

There would need to be a few rules in place about everyone respecting one another and not rushing each other, as most of us do have lives. Respect of each other being very key, as this is for fun, no one's making money, so if someone is being a jerk, they will need to be reprimanded.

The section if it were made, would of course require a mod (I'd be willing to mod it if it were made, or you could appoint anyone, whatever) to enforce the simple rules and listen to any issues that go on there, if a project head is pushing their "Staff" Too hard or if normal old trouble of Trolls and the like come around (Fortunately, I've seen no Trolls on CR, but I digress)


Anyway, just an idea to get folks to work together on projects and maybe make some pretty nifty things, it seems like that's the case with the Phoenix Wright Musical, after all, that's what got me to join this site in the first place, so it's pretty clear that cool things are born when people work together.

Just an idea I've had floating around in the old noodle, with as many cool things that you can do with the Phoenix Wright Sprites and such, and as many people who have no doubt thought to themselves "Oh WOW, I can see the characters saying this in my head, but I can't DRAW!" it would be a good place for people to voice their ideas, and artists to try new things that they might not have thought of themselves.

If the idea for a section is turned down, that's alright, just tell me where I can post a topic and I'll try running it from there. But I wanted to present this idea and see if anyone would be interested in it.

I'm not really interested in creating a "projects" board on this forum, because to be honest, most of them fail. All the time you get people saying, "I would make a fan case if only I could _______" and half the time, that blank includes all the most important parts of creating a case. I really don't want to encourage people to post 20 topics of, "I can't make sprites or program or compose, but I would really like to do a fan game."

If you want to try and organize a project, just put it in Present Evidence. That's why it exists as the misc fanworks bord.

Alright then Croik, I can't say I didn't see this coming, oh well, thanks for pointing me in the right direction anyway, I'll try and go about it from there. I do understand where you're coming from I suppose, I knew about that side of it as well, but I've noticed most projects like that also fail due to poor coordination, Not just lack of Talent. well anyway, thanks for the reply.

Great to hear you're willing to help NSB_Ace_Attorney, I've got plenty of ideas for what might be nifty, especially with videos, just a matter of me writing a detailed script for them so it would be easy to work with. Anyway send me a Pm about what you can do alright? We can go from there.
