If you didn't know (or if you had forgotten), Ghost Trick will be released in about a month in Japan (on June the 24th). As for the US and Europe, the game will be released this Winter, probably in February/March 2011). And in order to help us wait (there are still 7 months before a North American or European release... at least!), Capcom has released a new gameplay video, and a bunch of screenshots. Enjoy!

It's a gameplay video, where we get to see two new characters: some sort of pink-haired Diva (her name seems to be 'Elegant Lady'), typing on her typewriter rather passionately... and her daughter who is ill. Apparently, their family will play a special role in the game ('Something is going on with this family tonight').

As for the little girl, she makes me think of a child version of Regina (like 7-8 years old)... I'm sure that's no coincidence either.

I do appreciate that these character designs are fun to look at yet unmistakably distinct in style from those of Ace Attorney.

This isn't only an AA fansite, but more a Capcom fansite, and all games similar and related.

This game does look interesting though. The woman reminds me of Dee Vasquez.

Seriously, have you even been following the news? "Ghost Trick" is set in the same universe than the Ace Attorney series, created by Shu Takumi (creator of the Ace Attorney series), and the characters and humor in GT are very similar to the one in the Ace Attorney series. And it's published by Capcom for the Nintendo DS, which are the publisher and main system on which the Ace Attorney series is presented.
I mentioned the Ace Attorney series four times in that paragraph. Still not convinced? There's a dog called Missile.

True. However, news on the internet dries up faster than water in the desert, and since there's a veritable drought on GS5 info and AAI has already come and gone, many of us are eager to have something interesting to talk about and follow. And as others have pointed out, it's not COMPLETELY unrelated.

Hey buddy, we had a poll on this a while back. An overwhelming majority wanted CR to post Ghost Trick news. So you're welcome to not be interested, but shut yer trap about it. The rest of us are interested and this is a good way to get the news.
Anyway, this game looks better every new trailer I see for it. I was concerned earlier that it might be limited in depth, but it looks like at least there is a very large variety of different places you'll be going to solve these puzzles. Looks like fun.
