GoNintendo reports that Capcom has some new games to be announced, in addition to additional content to titles we already know about.
Of course, you could argue this isn't 'really' news, as saying new games are going to be announced at TGS is like saying they sell Happy Meals at McDonalds.

The thought of having to wait 2 more years for GS5 disheartens me. I doubt we'll have to wait that long. The coding and spriting is much simpler for the GS series than it is of the GK series. Hopefully it will only take another year. : )

Why ?
1) well, those may be 'separate series', but the universe are almost the same, and both series have a lot of characters that appears in common.
2) once again, it's a personal opinion, but I think one year to make a good game is way too little time. I don't want Capcom to rush things, I'd rather them to take their time to release great, complete games. Two years seem to me quite enough in order to do so.
3) 1 game per year... that would be too much, I think. I doubt they would have enough time to get enough fresh ideas in order to avoid any repetitiveness. They would probably end up reusing the same ideas over again, and fan would probably get bored with the series. And as far as I'm concerned, I don't want Capcom to spoil the series by releasing too many games in such a short amount of time... (like Resident Evil... a great series, but they've made way too many spin-off for their own good... even though they main series didn't suffer much).
OK, that's my personal opinion (3rd time I said it in this post xD), but I believe one game every two years would be the perfect timing in order for Capcom to make great games, not 'only-good' or average games ^^

I thought some of the team was the same and some of the team was different. I know it's under a different head, but I'm not sure whether the entire team is different...
I don't think there would be such a problem with yearly releases, I don't think the cases would drop in quality at all, but that's just me.

It's a business thing, you have to give the fans time to buy the game, beat it and inmediately after srart ranting about wanting a sequel. Then you announce the game while the sea is calm, and hear the fangasms. Then release it and make lotsa money, and repeat.

Maybe cause I've not played GK yet I'm not as excited by it but....I feel it'd be a shame if Apollo was to be delayed while they work on another GK game. I need my courtroom sequences

A Klavier Gavin Game? Maybe if it focus on Klavier/Kristoph and their past/current relationship. Otherwise, NO. On the other hand, A Kristoph Gavin game I would want in a heartbeat. While a Godot game would be cool, his story was pretty much wrapped up at the end of T&T. I doubt anyone wants a Winston Payne game except the 2 hardcore Winston Payne fans out there. I agree about Gumshoe being a side character. Ema Skye? I really don't want one personally.
I like the Fransizka idea. Wouldn't mind another Edgeworth game. And if Edgeworth does star in GK2, don't see why Fransizka can't star in one or two cases. Just like T&T with Mia.
I may be alone in saying this, but I really want to see a prequel taking place during the Gregory/Manfred days. Starring either Gregory or Manfred. There's a lot of material that can be used here. Gregory's first Trial. Hearing more about Gregory and Miles relationship. Same with Gregory/Manfred. The trial that took place that Gregory gave Manfred his penalty. Hearing about Miles life living with Manfred and his relationship with Manfred and Fransizka. Miles training with Karma leading up to his first case. Plus, seeing Damon Gant in his detective days.

But it's not like Gregory has to have every trial vs Manfred. I still think there's a lot of potential for a Gregory game.
BTW, I'm pretty sure Phoenix's Dad wasn't a lawyer. I know his parents weren't mentioned at all. But I'm pretty sure Phoenix would of at least mention him being a lawyer as one of the reasons Phoenix decided to become one.
