Hum... I'm currently trying to see whether I can go to Japan once again, this summer, in order to see the second musical of Gyakuten Saiban... (the August performance) and I've been wondering if :

1) there are some people here who'd also like to go and see it ? We could meet in Japan and go to the performance together ? :p
1b) there are some people, living in Japan, who also want to go and see the performance ?
2) there is someone who could help us get the ticket from Takarazuka's website (everything's in Japanese :payne:

) when they are available of course.... and since the ticket will undoubtly sold out as fast as dear Oldbag can fire her futuro-gun, it would probably be better if we knew how to order the ticket first !... :garyuu:

I haven't decided nothing (yet...), but that still would be a very nice to go to Japan to see the musical with our very own eyes. Of course, that wouldn't be cheap at all... but, when you love... :p

Good luck with getting tickets. ^_^;; I tried to get tickets, and I was unsuccessful. >_< I even was going to try and get them through Yahoo! Auctions, but you have to have a Japanese credit card to do so, they wouldn't take my American credit cards. ;_;

The best reliable way to get tickets for the performances are:

1) Sign up with Ticket Pia and enter your Credit card now, then at 8am JST, hammer the site with 2 or more laptops for the tickets.

2) If you can't handle the stress, get an account with crescent shop and bid for the tickets at JP Yahoo Auction at at least twice the price.

3) Hang around the park near Bow Hall on performance days 3-5 hours early and look for the scalpers.

4) Hang around the Entrance to Takarazuka Theater 1 Hour before performance and see if any of the fan clubs(easily distinguish by their clothes) have extra tickets they need to get rid of.

5) Join one of the actresses fan club and request for the tickets.

Thank you so much for all the answers ! Now, I will know where to look if I want some information on Takarazuka :will:

The problem with getting the ticket is... well, it seems I'm not sure I'll be able to get a ticket... but if I want to go and see the performance, I'll have to buy the plane tickets for Japan first... and if I decide to go, I'll have to buy them quite quickly (way before July, when the tickets for the performance are available for sale). So, it appears I will have to buy plane tickets without even being sure I'll be able to see the performance... And quite frankly, I would be quite disappointed if that was the case. Not that I would ever regret going back to Japan, that would be absolutely awesome ( :acro:

) but...

Of course, I still have time to think about it more thoroughly.
But still... thank you so much for your answers. Of course, if I ever find a way to get some tickets, I'll let everybody know :garyuu:

Yep, it has already been posted on another topic... but I can't remember which exactly (and I'm too lazy too look for them xD).
The "problem" is that there are a lot of topic for this musical.
But still, I really enjoyed those video, as we can see what the Trial part looks like... and I really loved it. The actresses are so gifted... they're pro, real pros... I really can't wait to watch the whole thing on DVD (or...) :adrian:

And I'd really love to see the second musical too... ok, that's the 10th time I say it :edgy:

No, they still haven't announced it (or else, I'm sure JapaneseGIRL or else would already have told us ^^).
But maybe there will be no Edgeworth at all in this musical... so no need to replace ~~him~~ her.
We're not even sure the plot for is taken from one of GS2 cases, but even if it was the case, they would have to pick up the last one... which would be logical, as I can't see any of the previous cases adapted in a musical... (I absolutely DON'T WANT to see a circus in this musical xD)
But still, it would be quite 'incomplete' without Edgeworth, so...

I also hope they will announce Nanase's replacement soon enough :edgy:

The female lead role of the show is a Rachel Aria to be played by Junya Chitose. As Edgeworth is suppposed to be a lead role as well and since there is no announcement on this character's actress, there is a chance that Edgeworth would not be included in this play or the role would be significantly downsized. Apparantly, Larry Butz might not be included in the show this round as well.

Just watched a couple of clips on Youtube and it looks quite interesting. It's a shame we'd never get to see it over here.

Quick question: Does anyone know why they use the English names instead of the Japanese ones? It struck me as kind of odd while I was watching it.

i.e. using Phoenix Wright instead of Naruhodo Ryuuichi

a possible explanation of why they used english names is because of the fact that the game is already localised. I guess, the world knows the english names more than that of the Japanese ones. (:

Actually the choices for prosecutor would be a male, as Yuumi Hiro seems to be the second lead. The only choices i really see are another male prosecutor or a recasting of Edgeworth, though I'm highly doubting they will recast him.

Well, at least Edgeworth's actress seems to be as least as hot as the previous one.
And yeah, they kept the same actress for Maya~~ :maya:

However, there's something I didn't get... who's this 'Luce Allaire' ? Who is he/she supposed to be ? At least, in the first one, we knew that 'Leona' was 'Lana' (in a way).

And it's a bit sad to have the role list for the 2nd musical, when most people haven't even seen the first one yet xD

awww i still miss Nanaho Hikaru T^T lessee if Yuumi Hiro is as good (and as hot) as Nanaho. meanwhile, Junya Chitose looks adorable ^^ and I think Fujisaki Eri fits for her part as the whip-slashing prosecutor.

i know how to get the tickets and i can afford them, but i need more money for plane tickets, visa, food, accomodation, etc. guys, does it worth it if i ask my parents to give the plane tickets etc. to me as my birthday gift?

A little trivia: The actress (Junya Chitose) for the female character spent her first two years in takarazuka acting in male roles.

It makes sense. They didn't keep Edgeworth's original hair colour either. Also their heavy stage makeup just looks strange in general when photographed.

Well, Edgeworth looks exactly the same as the one from the first musical xD
Personally, I don't se much difference... which isn't a bad thing of course, as the first Edgeworth was brilliant.
And I really like the other characters/actresses, especially Gumshoe :eh?:

and the Judge... he/she's too awesome ! :udgy:

They really did a nice work with the characters this time again... ah, I can't wait to see some footages of this musical !
(BTW, I still haven't bought the DVD of the first one >.>)
And I agree with kirakira_sora, they always look weird on pictures, but it's much better on stage (hopefully !).

Can't wait for this musical ! I wish Capcom would bother Takarazuka until they finally decide to release those DVDs outside Japan ! :grey:
