I really hope the fan support is strong enough for Nintendo to be convinced to pull Cing back from the brink. It would be a terrible shame to see this excellent video game development company go under.

And I don't think Cing is interesting enough for them (in terms of sales, heh) for them to buy a company that suffered from something like... liabilities of 256 million yen (= $2.9million).
It was really ''painful'' to beat this game, as I knew that when I read 'The End', it was in another way than just 'the end of the game'. Knowing I won't ever play as Kyle Hyde or Ashley (even J :p), or simply any other game made by Cing, well...
There are probablyvery few things I'd like to be more mistaken about than my certainty it's too late for Cing to be saved. Wish Cing had done something like: 'Dear fans, please donate whatever you can to help us out of this mess!'. I wonder how this would've turned out.
Especially after completing Last Window (still reading the novel though, which is really great by the way), it's not that wonderful when you know you've lost one of your favorite developers.

I'm trying to be optimistic, but I think you're right. I only just started playing Last Window (my copy took ages to arrive) and I love it so much! I hate to think it may be the last masterpiece from this brilliant studio.
I really wish something would happen/someone would do something to bring the company back from the ashes. I live in hope...

, it's been about 1 and a half weeks but I'm hoping they deliver this Monday so I can play this. After ordering LW I replayed Hotel Dusk, just to re-familiarise myself with the story. Kyle Hyde is awesome!
