Kay's also an archer, but she seems to focus more on defense. Her Little Thief can absorb defense points up to 60% from her opponents.
Franzy is a sword-user, but she uses her whip (lit. "Turnabout Whip") to 'seal' enemy attacks, preventing their use. It also raises her attack power by 80%. She has to be placed as a 'commander' of the current troop for this to take effect.
The levels of strategy in this game make it sound more and more appealing.

She's actually dressed to be more masculine than her fellow girls, as women don't usually wear loincloths. Of course, this also suggests something else about the artist...

Also if you've noticed Maya's G1 image as an mistake on it, her hair texture layer is missing which is in between her left hand and her shoulder. If you look at her higher levels it's not missing anymore.
