I'm surprised they left a few things as is, like "Kyubi Village" and "Tenma Tarou". Trucy also says "Yokai" instead of 'ghost' or 'spirit'. (Ah, Japanifornia at its finest!)

Also, am I the only one who is a bit skeptical about this case? The whole spirit channeling thing was a bit too much for me in the beginning, but they managed to leave it somewhat in the background...but here they just shove monsters in our faces. Yes, yes it'll probably not be real monsters (oh how I hope they'll quote a lot of Scooby Doo), but still. The concept just doesn't sit right with me.

They're not. They're American in the original.
They're Japanese but lived and worked in the US.
In the American version, they're Germans.
From the wikia: Both Franziska von Karma and Manfred von Karma are Japanese in the original versions of the games, but Franziska studied and was raised in America.

Just got a reply from Chris (the gent who posted the press release) and he tells me that he didn't actually write the press release himself, therefore he was afraid to push any further about this information, in case it was spoilers. He said he would triple check for us when he gets back to the office (Probably Monday).

I'm all for getting rid of the bubbly female sidekick characters.
But I wouldn't call Apollo's cast full of fail... at least, not entirely. The game was rushed and did focus on Phoenix and his awesome Gambit Plan, so Apollo's cast was kind of not important. Had they taken their time and actually done the real plan they had - focus AJ story on Apollo's past instead of having been forced to make a "Jury System is Awesome" story - the cast would have been much better.
I'm not very excited over GS5, but here's hoping they'll make the Apollo cast more intersting.

Weird.. okay I looked up 'saleemkhan' and no such member exists, there is only the linkenski individual, making that one post so maybe they changed their name.
