And the jury goes, "Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! Guilty!"

The mouthing animation is proper for both Japanese and English. I'm not surprised about the actual use of a scale and black and white votes, for it's a literature trope I often find parts of in my English classes.

Anywho, I'm having slight thoughts about possible English voices for the characters.

Not sure why, but Johnny Yong Bosch came to mind for Ryuunosuke. I'll try a mock audition and put my voice somewhere, maybe YouTube or Soundcloud.

Sherlock Holme's voice is open to A LOT of possibilities for English voice actors, so I got trouble deciding! LOL

What do you mean exactly with "black and white votes"? The fact that they only either vote Guilty or Not Guilty? Isn't that just how the court works? You are either Guilty for something or Not? I don't think I've ever seen a judge/jury vote "He's Half Guilty!"

The idea of a hung jury in the AA games could be interesting...

I know how the jury works. I've done my fair share of mock trials already in school. The black/white votes is a simple concept: black is guilty, white is not guilty. Here's an example of it being used:

In the "Twilight Zone" episode, "Evergreen", the townspeople of Evergreen use black and white pellets to vote whether or not a felon should be punished via

Okay, you've partly lost me there.
You're saying that the black-and-white votes are a trope, because it happens in other pieces of fiction. I can follow it up to here. (Though I struggle to call it a trope since I wouldn't call it a story device; it's simply how a jury works -- they vote "guilty" or "not guilty", just like the judge already does in the AA games.)
...But then you bring up your credentials and an example... For what purpose exactly? What are you trying to prove and what point are you making?

I DID say I was "not surprised" of the black-and-white votes being used, did I not? My example was to back up what you figured out if yer not catching that

...And in other news, I'm not surprised the sun rose today. I can know, because I've seen my fair share of sunrises.

Look, I'm just asking what your point is, because I'm not seeing it. Pointing out the obvious, telling us you're not surprised about, and then giving us your credentials, it's entirely meaningless. As meaningless as my example above.
That's my question this entire time. What is your point exactly?

EDIT: Reading over my post, I may come off a bit rude... But it's an honest curious question with no ill intent.

I think you only read my feedback/comment as one part when there are clearly 2 parts to it

I don't think he's using black-and-white metaphorically like you are. He's referring to the idea of visually representing votes with black and white objects

Hmm, if that were the case, I'd have thought to be corrected on that already. Also, I don't see any literally black-and-white objects in the trailer.
That said, though... If he were to mean black-and-white literally, everything does start to make sense.

Looking over that part in the trailer... Are you referring to the chairs the jury sit in? Do they turn black? (I legitimately can't tell. I did notice their change in color the first time I saw this part of the trailer, but I more found it to be a dark brown than black.)

Yes, that's what I'm talking about... I really feel like we're just speaking on two different wavelengths or something.

yea, idk what POV yer speaking from, so I'm not getting the drift. I just spoke about what I perceived with my own eyes according to what I know. I dunno why anyone would think so deep about it since there's nothing to pursue there

On the other hand, why'd you only address just the first part of my comment?

Also, it seems that you did not look at my example AKA watch the Twilight Zone episode, "Evergreen", to understand what I was talking about
