On the poster are only 6 returning characters, though. ;)

And as you say four of them are "mandatory" returning appearances and considering Klavier was the prosecutor of AA4 it's not surprising to see him as well (I mean Franziska also returned for a rather small role in T&T). Only Pearl came really out of the blue and overall DD features very few returning characters (unless there will be more I am not aware of).

Then I must've been misfed with wrong information. I can't remember where I read about the 9 returning characters anyway. But you're right. There have been similar cameos in other main GS games. I still don't like the idea of "before we do anything we make sure these characters are in the game!" approach.
