The DVD: That's right. The DVD for the second Gyakuten Saiban Musical is now available. You can find it here and there. I don't know if you can purchase it if you live outside Japan, but since it wasn't possible for the first musical, I guess you'll have to go through websites like Crescent-Shop to order it.

Price: 8.400 Yen (~83$/63€)
Duration: 145 minutes
Performance: the performance recorded for this DVD is the one that took place on the 27th of August, at Takarazuka Bow Hall Run.

The songs:

I also came to my attention that just like for the first one, Takarazuka has released some of the songs from the second Gyakuten Saiban musical.
They're available right there! I'd recommend you to buy them from Musico if you live outside Japan, since they accept foreign creditcards (VISA at least).

Here are a few things you need to know/have before trying to download those DRM-filled WMA:

Spoiler: Musico version
1) they're not free. The whole album (12 songs, 25 minutes) costs 1.200 Yen, that is ~13$/9€.
2) they're NOT DRM-free. Yeah, that sucks terribly. Now, please note you won't be able to share those songs with anyone. You can only read them on ONE computer. Yeah, that REALLY REALLY SUCKS *SSES.
3) they're WMA. Looks like the DRM restrictions didn't suck badly enough, yeah.
3) you need an international credit-card (like a VISA or a MasterCard) to buy the songs
4) it looks like you need to use Internet Explorer to buy the songs, and Microsoft Media Player to extract them on your computer (then, you can read the files on another Media Player that supports DRM, like Winamp for example)
5) you need to have some very basic knowledge of Japanese in order to create an account, and buy the songs. You don't need to be perfectly fluent, what you need to know, for example, is to be able to read katakanas. You can also use Google Translations to help you with kanjis.

I think that's all. Enjoy! :)

(Personal opinion: the songs aren't as great as those from the first musical... But they're still great :o)

Waouh, thanks for the 'Front Paging' ^^

Edit: I wrote a tutorial to help you all buy songs from Musico.jp. You can download it right here:

Spoiler: Tutorial Musico
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=B1VUYN3F

Please note that it took me almost two hours to write this tutorial. Yet, it's kinda messy, there are probably a few spelling mistakes (and such) left, but I hope it's clear enough!
Following the instructions written in that tutorial, I was able to buy the songs, but please note that it might now work with you, but there's really no reason it shouldn't work with you.

I know the DVD has been out for quite a long time, but I've found several interesting videos.

This is one is a digest of the 1st performance of the musical, that took place at Takarazuka Bowl Hall. This digest is very similar to the one we got for this first musical. And yeah, Gumshoes sings and dances too :p

And DO NOT WATCH THIS, that is, unless you have the money to buy the DVD you'll absolutely want to buy afterwards :p

Some footage of the rehearsals. It's very interesting how the different actors actually looks like without their costumes and make-up.

A review of the musical, in English. If you didn't get enough Takarazuka goodness with the two first videos... :p
