Level-5 just posted their line-up for TGS 2012. Considering how strong the line up is, (And how curiously Layton heavy it is), and the fact that if Level-5 were to announce a private expo this month, they only have today and tomorrow to do it, I believe that we will not see a Level-5 World/Vision event post TGS. Granted, there wasn't really any doubt that Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney would show up at TGS but this makes it official (said with an overdramatic and echoey voice).

Personally, I like that Level-5 has 3 mystery titles, marked by white boxes with ?'s inside them. Last year Level-5 had a lot of new IPs. It's very nice that someone in the gaming industry knows the importance of new titles. Hopefully we'll see more of that ambition from Level-5 in 3 weeks at TGS 2012.

Edit: Just learned that Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney will be playable at TGS! Exciting!

Thanks to GSFun and irishmarcoos for the tip!

So this makes an English release of GS123HD, an Edgeworth Based Musical in Japan, the Subtitled Movie is being showcased fairly rigorously around the western world, hope for AAI2, and now Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney is definitely coming to TGS. All we need now is AA5 to show up at TGS (And some Apollo Justice) and there isn't anything that could make this year more exciting!

Good to finally know there's some playable gameplay. All the people looking for Layton Gameplay will have their answer for sure then, I'm more interested in how the courtroom music builds atmosphere though.

Still says: 'Will be released in 2012' which is encouraging.

EDIT: herp derp

Anyway, that RPG they announced is for the Vita, so *sadface*

Interested in the new Layton, and it'll be good to finally see some PLvPW gameplay! Also that 3rd layton game is for iProducts, so I guess I'm never gonna play it ~_~ Also interested in the rest of the games... hopefully they'll be new IPs.

It will be interesting to see how much the game has developed over the past year, so that should be interesting! Will most likely be hearing a release date at TGS then if it still has the 2012 release date, placing my money on December 3rd. No particular reason though :shoe:

Demo and trailer, eh? Expected, but still nice to get reassurance. Hopefully they let us know about the release date soon.

It's still listed as 2012. I'm currently inclined to think that it's up to date. TGS seems like an odd place to announce a delay.

Edit: Just visited the Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney website, there's a very mild almost nonexistent update. There's now a link with today's date, and it goes back to Level-5's TGS page.
