Ntower.de has posted a rather awesome high quality recording of the GS5 Japanese eShop Demo. If you can't wait to see what the game might look like as not a flash demo, then I invite you to check it out. The opening animation is just amazing.

Of course, you risk spoiling yourself to something that won't be in your hands until Fall (which puts it somewhere between Sept 22nd and December 21st). So use your best judgement if you'd rather wait a few months.

So is the demo the same as the flash demo with the exception of the intro cutscene?

I used to have Sam Waterston as my avatar but photobucket added a watermark and also Law & Order has been cancelled for 10 years so it's time for me to move on.

Ooh, this looks REALLY awesome. I like the animation on the home screen too, it's very cute. I had been wondering what they would do for a while. :yogi:

I think it's exactly the same as the web flash demo, but with the added cutscene at the beginning (and I've also heard the trailer is very slightly different at the end, showing added frames of

So glad I invested in a Japanese 3DS. The game looks crisp and fun to look at, especially in 3D. Nice that they added the animated opening cut scene. I have a feeling there's more to the first case than a simple bombing.

I couldn't resist clicking the link. I was planning not to spoiled myself too much but I really can't help it...

The demo makes me want the game more... I can't wait to get my hands on the game!!!

Intro cutscene is awesome.

I hope they try the final case in the exploded, moonlit courtroom. Cleaned up but not fully rebuilt. That would be amazing.

I also feel like, since we don't see the lawyers or witnesses in the trial that gets bombed, the flashback cases may be leading up to that one, so we may be playing the case when the bombing itself happens.

The 3D looks, in my opinion, very impressive in this game. Probably because the images on the screen don't move around a whole lot. The opening anime isn't all in 3D but there is a small part that is, and even that looks good. I think it's the scene where the bomb ticks down-->explodes.

I just hope that they don't overdo the stereoscopy effect. Cranking it up too high just makes things hard to look at. And only realtime rendered content can change the strength of the effect...

If you're talking about the anime cutscenes, I would assume they would have roughly the same depth effects as in Layton and the Miracle Mask which didn't go crazy with it. From what I've scene pre-rendered movies and images in 3DS games tend to not go overboard so people who only like a little bit of the effect will be ok.
